Traveling with 3 children. First room they sent us to hadn't been cleaned yet so I had to drag all 3 children back to the reception desk. Receptionist was nice enough to check the second room before she sent us to it. Overall everything was fine.

30 minutes to downtown via several routes and easy on/off the highway, it's a comfortable and quiet stay. Nothing fancy. If I had to nitpick ... there's no ice machine (odd) and internet service is slow. But that's nitpicking. I never plan to stay much in the room. This place fit the bill.

The room I was in smelled of smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were small and flat. No coffee maker.

I have stayed here before and didn't have a problem buthat this time I was severely disappointed. The shower control was broken. The heating and air system hadn't been cleaned in forever. There was debris on the front of it. The hallways were littered with trash. Never again will I stay here.

After being trapped in a horrible blizzard, the staff was exactly what I needed. They were polite and kind. They made sure to make us feel welcome. All information I needed was given to me as soon as I arrived

We got a very good deal on this hotel. With that said, the bed was hard as a rock, the staff were slow and unprofessional, and the shower leaked all night.. Overall we saved some money and the room was clean so I am happy. Will not come back however..

We found out late in the afternoon that we needed to spend two nights in south KC. Drove down after looking at ten different hotels. We unfortunately picked this one. We walked in to very slow service with lots of people trying to get check in or questions answered. The lady behind the counter was very nice, but slow. The room stank. No other way to explain but think of wet dog mixed with a vacuum cleaner broken bag. The bed squeaked very loudly. Wasted the money booking a king size. Next morning my wife tried to get moved to another room. The lady at the front desk did not care that the room was terrible. Her and one other worker were constantly talking about other employees and how terrible a job they do. They complained about about their jobs, other employees, the food they had to set out, everything you can imagine. No service, no help, place was filthy, and the tub dripped. Don't stay here.

Location is OK, the price is higher than those in Overland Park, Lenexa and the Overland Park Convention Center. These other locations are closer to restaurants and activities and nicer neighborhoods.

needed wireless, small charge almost no signal 3 doors away from front desk.

The hotel had great staff, rooms were adequate, we had some noisy neighbors that were slamming doors, and cabinets next door. Also we had a non-smoking room, and either someone was smoking both nights next door, or just down the hall, as smoke smell was evident several times over our two night stay. Clean rooms, some odor though not a deal breaker.

Lots of things didn't go quite perfect during my stay, but I would stay here again because of the price. They didn't have a hair dryer for me to check out (though their literature said they would). The dishes in the kitchenette weren't really clean and there was no dish soap. One morning when I went to leave my door wouldn't lock. To their credit, they came up and bolted it, and it was fixed when I got back (though the keys were a little old fashioned. The staff overall were very nice and helpful but there was a sort of creepy security guard hanging out in the parking lot which unnerved me before I realized he was security and supposed to be there. The grocery store closest to the hotel was kind of dirty and the food was not very fresh.
