Our room was comfortable and clean. But we think the extra charge for the breakfast room is unacceptable. It isn't a restaurant with table service. The breakfast is no different than any other hotel breakfast that is provided at no extra charge with the stay. We will avoid staying at this hotel on our future frequent visits to Kalamazoo.

While I realize it was a slightly cheaper room. ( paid 55 and used my hotels.com rewards of almost 30) we arrived at the hotel late and were informed the pool was closed for repairs, there was no internet and no cable. I definitely feel that should have been information disclosed on the listing for the hotel. The overall hotel needs to be cleaned, the carpet in our room was absolutely disgusting.

Everything was good. Fast check in and the room was very clean. The only thing was the thermostat. This is our second stay here and the room would stay at a comfortable temperature. We like our room to be cool. But its set on some economy mode. So the room would get very warm in the middle of the night.
