Overall no a horrible experience... Stayed one night om my way back to Detroit from Chicago. The front desk lady was very polite. Only issue was the pillows (inserts) looked like they had never been cleaned thoroughly and were all stained yellow. Quite gross. I asked the front desk women for "New" pillows and she ran all over to find me one pillow insert without stains. I believe she was working alone and I greatly appreciated her effort. Probably won't return though as the head-boards and other furniture were quite worn too.
Plenty of restaurants in the area
They had a limited breakfast selection because of shortages which I certainly understand currently. The workout room was a limited with no free weights and the machines were relatively noisy so probably need to be serviced. The staff so it was extremely professional and helpful, the location was ideal for my business trip and it did have a hot tub although the jets didn’t work very well.
The hot tub wasn’t working. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good, but not outstanding.
Room was dirty and only 2 pillows. Found hair in bathtub.
Nothing
It was quiet. Room was spacious. But staff did not provide sheets, blankets for sofa bed. And carpet had crumbs on it
My father had called to see if I had checked in and he was told that there was no record of me in the system. I had, in fact, checked in and was asleep (missed his phone call). This led to a missing person’s report being filed and the police getting involved. All because the staff was incompetent and claimed I had never checked in or visited that location. Not very impressive.
We were really happy with this hotel. The staff was super nice anything we needed we got right away. The breakfast was good and hot even after 9 am.
Nice hotel and good location. The pool area could be updated a little and is a little small, but overall a nice hotel. Would stay here again.
The hotel was really nice. Right off the freeway and close to everything. The room was really clean, the staff were great and the pool was nice. I'd come back and stay again.
Went to have a relaxing weekend. The bed was firm and the bedding warm (comforter had been washed too hard and filling was clumped). Floor seam strip near jacuzzi did not meet. Pillows were too small for a king sized bed. Our area was nice and quiet at night. Sink area was very small and left no room to put out your own needs. Complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Great coffee! Compared to other hotels or motels we have stayed in this was average at best.
The hotel had clean, spacious suites with good hotel service. Pool was clean, moderate size. Hot tub was shallow but perfect temp. Good breakfast including hot items. Didn't find any major attractions right by hotel but short drive to Western Michigan University and shopping. Went to a restaurant called Zeb's about 5 mi. away. Great food and service.
this hotel was great. they had a great breakfast. Pool area was average.

I apologize for the confusion. I am sorry to say that your father called the wrong hotel, there are 2 Hamptons and he swore at my employee and called her a name. Once he realized he called the wrong hotel; he called to apologize. I do not think he was accurate on the entire story. I am sorry for the confusion but we did not create the missing person situation.
