Here on business and absolutely love this place. Warm and welcoming comfortable suites with a great lobby. Various options for breakfast. Pool and hot tub great for after work relaxation. The staff are courteous and make you feel at home. By far the best place I have stayed in a long time.
This older hotel had uncomfortable beds that groaned when you moved and were basically uncomfortable to sleep in. The bathtub had several rust spots making it only appealing to use as a shower. Breakfast was normal for this hotel chain, never spectacular. The location was good, right off the Interstate. Internet was just OK, a little "spotty" at times. Our room had NO fridge or microwave but management DID provide them when requested.
Mattresses were very lumpy! Did not reported the lumpy mattresses to the hotel's management. The breakfast was good, typical of Hampton Inn. The dining area was very pleasant. The staff members that we interfaced with were very pleasant and helpful.
I am a Hilton Honors member and I've stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns over the years. This appeared to be an older hotel. The staff was friendly and the parking lot was was clean/well lit, but the room (#210) I was in was definitely aged. There were some rust spots on the tub and the door to the room had a large gap near the bottom. Light from the hallway would shine in and I could see the carpet floor outside my door. The gap between the door and the door frame must have extended up about 8" to 10" from the floor. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of noise in the hallway as I'm sure I would have heard it through that gap. Three stars = average.
Had to travel to attend funeral. Chose this facility because of brand name. Met all expectations as usual. Breakfast was very good with a good array of options. The room was comfortable and clean. Would return.
Friendly, helpful, considerate staff who very obviously take very good care of this hotel, and its guests. From the front desk to the housekeeping crew, everyone is so helpful and friendly. We had a very small issue with our room, and Cody at the front desk took care of it personally, and immediately. The lobby is very inviting, and the breakfast was very, very good. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.
Had a suite room on the third floor, was a typical Hampton Inn--nothing fancy, nothing bad. Only negative was the low water pressure in the shower. Decent breakfast--not much around the hotel i.e. restaurants.
Stayed at this hotel when I was in town for a wedding. I had originally planned on staying at another Hampton that the wedding party had blocked but they were all gone so the rep booked me here at the same rate. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable! Service was excellent as well. The breakfast is quick and good as well. However, if you have the time check out The Crow's Nest as well, it's a local eatery with GREAT breakfast. My only issue was the pool was too cold for me and the hot tub smelled very strongly of chemicals and I may have a Urinary tract infection from it, but that's a pretty common occurrence for me when I travel so could have been something else. Not a deal breaker. Would recommend!
Bed was very uncomfortable. A/C didn't quite work right. Friendly enough staff. Breakfast area and room were clean. Breakfast was fresh but ran out of potatoes by 8:30am? Person before me got the end. :( Also, only small amount of grapefruit. Ran out and was not replaced. And had to peel own eggs. No problem but not boiled properly so peeling also took off 1/2 the egg. Kids enjoyed waffles. Lots of housekeeping around and all very friendly.
Long time Hilton Honors member. This property was sold out to families with kids ages 8-13 for soccer. They were really noisy even after 10 and 11 pm but there was only one person on staff at the desk. He couldn't possibly be expected to check in arriving guests and help troubleshoot unsupervised noisy children. There is one small elevator and it is very, very slow. We waited as much as five minutes just so my parents (who cannot take stairs as they are 80+ years old) could go up to the third (top) floor. We stayed for the location, but I'd rather have a longer drive for a more quiet and easier to navigate property.
