Room was "non smoking" but smelled of smoke... ashes next to toilet. Shower and shower curtain not clean. Pillows flat and lumpy :(

The room smells like someone has smoked cigarette and there is a cigarette burn on the bed sheet. The evening staff was not friendly or helpful. She was in a bad mood that I arrived very late at night. She turned off a guest who came in looking for a room. He left the main office unpleasantly.

Good location and counfortable room quite room decent

The room was comfortable with two beds.WiFi worked OK. Shower was nice, as was the vanity. Wish the room had a fridge or microwave, however. The room keys were handy and reliable. Good heat/cool control.

I'm in wheelchair and staff really help .love roll in showers...cheap but good hotel

I should not have to request they change my sheets regularly. Towel service was great.

The staffs was very nice but the pictures make the hotel look nicer then it is. Plus we found a used tampon under our bed very gross

I really liked this hotel for the money. The only thing that is annoying is the other hotel guests that honk their horns or set their car alarms off. It would be such an improvement if the parking was set back from the front door of the rooms.

I had to stay at this hotel several nights in a row and it is quite comfortable. The only negative is that cars all drive right up to the front of each unit, so you can hear a lot of noises out side your door. Cars coming and going, horns going off in the middle of the night. But I always felt safe in my room. Craig at the front desk has always been super nice and helpful, as has the rest of the staff. I will be staying here on my next Michigan trip There were a few Beatle bugs in room, but are harmless and are in season,,so expect you may see a few.

Killed about 10 stink bugs in room. No security lock on door.

This hotel was filthy!!! The bed linenso, towels, and comforters were stainedoing and old. It looked like they had rust spots in the white towels. There were baby roaches crawling around, and the area rug under the bed smelled like something spoiled. I had to use the towels to walk on and didn't want to take any of my belongings out of my car!! When I went to take a shower, the water was brown (city had flused some lines, I was told) and there were CLUMPS of shave gel and hair on the shower curtain. This gives Red Roof a bad name for this 1st time stay. I am transferring to anot her Red Roof on the West side of town, hopefully with a better experience.

Double size bedroom not nice upgrade to king was defiantly worth the extra 20$

It is a seedy low budget hotel. Bugs, frogs & that's just what we could c. We left due to the possibility it was bed bugs. We were Taking no chan es.

The room was a little less than I expected. I knew my expectations should not be too high because of the price, however, it was quite outdated and not very clean. There was a lot of noise outside and the room did not feel safe. The sheets also had cigerette burns on them. I would not stay here again.

Dear Tom, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your stay with Red Roof Inn Kalamazoo East. We are very happy to read that there was lots of convenience to your stay with us. We do understand that a Microwave and Fridge would have made the stay better. We don't offer a two bed with those amenities, but we do offer a Superior King that has both of those amenities as well as the King sized bed, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. This room is much larger then the our two standard bed and offers more luxury for extended stays at our Inn. We do hope that we may meet again in the future if your travels bring you back to the Kalamazoo area.
