Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center

Disappointed the pool and hot tub area were closed for maintenance

Nicest hotel in Kalamazoo and close to some great restaurants and bars.

We stayed at the Radisson for two nights after Christmas. The room was small, but functional. The amenities are great. The gym is very well equipped. Comfort: I am giving the room a 4/5 because of a mechanical pump that buzzed reasonably loudly through the second night. Staff: Check in took much longer than it should have (~15 minutes) -- it seemed like the staff didn't know how to work the computer system. I'm giving the hotel staff a 3/5 because of our wake up call and airport car experience. We called the night before our flight to schedule a taxi for 4:45AM. At that time, the front desk person asked if we wanted a wake up call and we set a call for 4:15AM. I woke up to a phone call and wasn't sure what time it was (the alarm clock was on the opposite night stand), though I assumed it was our 4:15AM wake up call. At this time a rude front desk person started asking us about our car, if we could take a different car, if we could leave later, etc. I was pretty disoriented because of the time. After getting off the phone I looked at the time on my cell phone and it was 3:40AM. I have no idea what would compel someone to call a guest room at 3:40AM and start asking questions. She seemed annoyed that I wasn't more responsive. I guess the front desk assumed this was our wake up call because we never received the call scheduled for 4:15. All in all a strange customer service experience.

This hotel was very accommodating! After a long day of multiple changed flights and delays the hotel staff that checked us in allowed us to order food and drinks to our to right then. The bed was so soft and comfortable it made for a great few nights of sleep. We had no issues and felt like this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at in awhile!

This hotel is right downtown and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do. Would stay here again in a second!

You can walk just about anywhere you need to go in downtown K-zoo. Clean, comfortable rooms.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal - centered in the dining and shopping area of town.

Great place to stay when traveling on buisness. Perfect location an d friendly staff.

The hotel itself was okay. We had to wait over a half hour to check in, more people should be staffed.

The hotel was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Will stay there again.

I've stayed here before and this hotel is always great to stay at. However, the check in process took over 20 minutes- the line was huge with only two people working on a Friday night

The Radisson was very accommodating. They did not have the exact room I had requested, so they upgraded us to a better one with a great free breakfast in the morning.

Awesomeeee room, Friendly staff...the only thing that was a bummer was that you had to pay to park. And the staff wasn't very clear with the parking instruction so we wouldn't get charged the full price. Other than that, great hotel!

Hotel was incredibly clean great service in every way one of nicest hotels I have ever stayed at.

Hotel was in a great location, clean, etc. $25 to park overnight seemed pricey but otherwise good.

This is Kalamazoo's best hotel by far. It has all of the amenities you need and several restaurants to boot. The only drawback is the parking fee for valet parking. Given that it's Kzoo, you'd think they'd have a lot and it wouldn't cost you $20 to park. But, everthing else is great!!!

The hotel was clean, and I think a great value for the price.

The only concern we had with our stay was on the day of check out. Our time of check out was 12:00pm. We were in our room with the "do not disturb" tag on the outside of the door at about 11:30am and all of a sudden a member of the housekeeping staff opened the door and walked in.

Spent a weekend in Kalamazoo looking at local colleges. Excellent location. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Close to campus. Very comfortable.

Overall the hotel is fantastic just over-priced. Being the only hotel that you can really experience downtown KZoo in (i.e. Walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops) they seem to take advantage of that with the pricing. Have stayed in hotels with nicer rooms and amenities for much less. Lower-level shopping mall is a needless frill
