The rooms, staff and breakfast were all excellent. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean. Everything worked as it should. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had multiple hot and cold options. The breakfast attendant did a great job keeping everything stocked and making sure everyone had what they needed.

Exceptional place to stay. The staff were very helpful. The location was nice located right across the street from Walmart and less than a block from that was Sam’s Club restaurants located really close. In fact there was a restaurant we walked to from the hotel and eat Mexican food. We enjoyed the complementary water swimming in the pool being that is winter time. It was nice that it was inside. About 30 minutes or so from the beach where we collected seashells. We’ve stayed another hotels in the area and this one surpasses all the other ones I would recommend this to anyone.

The hotel looked fantastic. The desk staff were very pleasant and spoke about the amenities (breakfast buffet, coffee and water available). The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if back in Jacksonville NC.

We tend to stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels for the quality rooms and free breakfast. The breakfast was great, but very busy so food was empty at times. Servers did a great job refilling quickly. Overall, this hotel was clean. Our room was clean, but many scapes in walls with missing paint, the wall mirror was hung crooked, painting on wall missing the glass in the frame, bathroom floor and shower had opportunities to be cleaned or re caulked. Not a deal breaker, but it definitely showed many signs of wear. Also- a smart TV in the room and no way to access the features.
