Stay was great as usual.
If you absolutely must visit Jacksonville, NC, this is a good hotel to stay in. Clean, affordable, close to all the strip malls, fast food places, and ugly suburban sprawl that Jacksonville has to offer. I would def stay in this hotel again the next time I’m required to visit this dump of a town.

We chose this hotel after blindly booking at another hotel and this one blew us away. Amazing breakfast with several options for everyone, the staff was friendly- breakfast staff was eager to help with food and brought our kids coloring sheets, the room was nice, and it was in a great location to who we were visiting and lots of restaurants. We paid more to stay here this time and the room wasn't as clean this time, but everything else exceeded what we experienced before. We will probably continue to return here as long as family is in the area.
When we ordered through Orbitz I requested a handicap accessible room, however the request to not come over properly to Hampton. The staff was extremely accommodating to correct and find a handicap room for us. I will definitely be back.
The breakfast was excellent! The extra choices from the normal hotel fare was a welcome surprise. The breakfast staff was friendly and helpful. My only concern was we had the handicap room and the shower chair didn’t fit tightly against the wall. I was afraid I wold hit it when turning in th the shower. We didn’t ask for the handicapped room or need the shower seat. We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends!
We had a great stay at Hampton Inn. From the moment we walked thru the door everyone was so welcoming and the customer service was outstanding, from the front desk clerk checking us in, to the amazing breakfast lady who made waffles, and our first full day was Sunday and our room staff was great, very kind and helpful. Five stars all the way for cleanliness and an excellent staff all around. I would recommend to anyone being in Jacksonville.
Everything was great except that for 2 days during our stay we did not have housekeeping service. We did go to the front desk and told them about it and they came that day.
Great service and very clean rooms - would stay here again.
