The manager is very friendly and will assist you with your requests. The first room provided was not acceptable for our stay. A second room was provided and met our needs. The property is maintained outside but the manager is refurbushing 4 rooms a month. So some rooms are much nicer than others. The suits are the size of a one bedroom apartment. The area is safe with many stores and resturants in walking distance. So if you are looking to book a good size suit without the Hotel atmosphere, this would be a good choice. The ac worked great but do to Covid 19 there is no daily housekeeping. The one issue is there is smoking allowed on the walkway outside your room and not in a designated area away from the entry to your room. The kitchen has older appliances showing signs of wear and rust.

The hotel was clean and convenient to everything. However, when we arrived to the room we noticed the a/c wasn't working and called to report it. No answer, so I left a message. Call was returned, but I was informed that they couldn't send anyone until the following day. When I requested a room change I was told they were full and to "open the windows, it's a beautiful night". The following morning I called again. A repairman did come and attempt to fix the unit. After waiting 2 hours for it to function it still wasn't working. I called again and we were moved to a new room. Except for this issue, everything was good, but I was highly irritated at the initial indifference to the problem and didn't enjoy sweating all night and until about 2:00 p.m. the following day.

We recently stayed for 2 nights and although the hotel was ok, the biggest issue was there was NO staff at all to assist anyone with issues. We let them know we were checking in late since the office would be closed. There was a code needed to get our keys but we were not told about this. We stilll managed to get our room keys, thankfully. There were no pillows on the bed and no one to ask, so we found one in a closet and luckily had an extra in our car. There were no dish towels for the kitchen but no one to ask. The office is closed on sundays and on Monday, when we went to check out, it was past the time it was to open but no one was there. I guess because it was a holiday. I think this place seemed more like an apartment complex than a hotel. Therefore, I probably will not stay again, even though it was a good price.

I love the way the room is setup. It makes you feel right at home. The bdrm separate from the living room space is what I love. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Pros - the front desk Manager was extremely helpful and polite. Went out of his way to make sure we could check in, and that we knew the hours of the front desk before we got there. Really appreciated his thoughtfulness and professionalism. The location is convenient. Lots of restaurants & shopping nearby. Cons - If I had to stay for more than one night, I would have checked out and went elsewhere. ROACHES! We saw 2 small ones - one in the bathroom in the middle of the night, and one on the bedroom wall in the morning behind the bed. I came home, shook everything outside, and immediately threw everything in the washing machine. The rooms are a mess. They desperately need to be updated, there were holes in the wall, stained carpeting, broken blinds, and the vent hood was rusted. The toilet paper holder was broken off the cabinet in the bathroom. There was an ironing board but no iron. I usually won't walk barefoot in a hotel room, but I didn't even trust my socks here. I wore shoes the whole time. The room appeared to be clean - the sheets were fresh, didn't trust the blanket - but the smell of bleach is overwhelming when you walk in (and there's some sort of film on the bathroom floor - I think it was some sort of cleaning product that hadn't been properly rinsed off but I skipped using the shower) and there was a dirty sponge on the kitchen counter. We had to open the window, get some Febreeze & odor-absorbing gel, and air out the room before we could stay

Sorry about your experience, I apologize that your were not moved immediately, at that time I had no vacant similar (king) suites available. Again please accept my apologizes.

Dear Guest Thank you for your comment. Our late check in procedure does not require a code, as your were informed about how to retrieve you keys. Along with the keys there is a welcome letter inserted with your keys, highlighting a emergency phone number to call should you have any problems with your room. That number is also posted on the office door. I am so sorry about your lack of pillows, our housekeeping staff is one of the best in Jacksonville as I have shared this with them. We ask that you stay with us again, and myself and staff can guarantee you that we will attempt to satisfy all your expectations.
