Got two rooms for one night. They were clean and comfortable and quite adequate for a one night stay at a reasonable rate. The desk person was pleasant and efficient. Rooms have been updated. Management is obviously working to improve the property. Would stay here again if in the area.
Horrible manager who insisted that he did not receive our reservation from Booking.com (which we've used a lot and never had problems) and also insisted that all rooms were full (including the one we reserved). We reserved a King bed. We were given 2 full size beds, THEN he told us that he charged us fairly because he did not charge us extra for the 2nd bed. Hotel probably has 100 rooms and only 3 vehicles were on the property during our entire stay.. hard to believe rooms were booked. He argued with EVERYTHING that was said.. Finally offered a room with a King bed; Then proceeded to tell us that we would have to pay for both rooms if we switched because we had USED the room we were first given. The room had not been used, we had only been there for 15-20 minutes. By FAR the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Room did not have any bugs but that was literally the ONLY good thing that I can say about it. Walls were dirty, bathroom door would not fully close and latch. Room did not smell clean. The list goes on.. We were going to leave the hotel and go elsewhere but we were in town for business and my husband had not slept in 2 days. He was exhausted and we did not want to deal with trying to find a new hotel AND having to worry about this place charging us some insane amount for canceling.
Was surprised to find out that we had to drive thru after hours to check in; but was okay! a bit pricey for one night stay; 2 people king bed with tax $75. Conveniently located off I-40. Remodeled Knights Inn. Room was good, bed slept awesome. Would stay again for one night.
We were very surprised. The rooms have been renovated along with the lobby. Would not hesitate to stay here in the future. Several things to walk to close to motel and convenient to Cracker Barrel just down the road.
I been here going on two months its very clean hot showers clean towels and sheets every day housekeeping are wonderful everyday service I recommend this hotel for everyone I stayed at roadway inn all I can say is it's a trashy hotel no service nasty towels breakfast awful very rude employees I was so happy when I got to knights inn so if u wanna be comfortable in a clean inexpensive hotel I give Knights inn 5 stars u will love you're stay and the manger Andy is a very nice guy and very respectful....
Was in town for work and stayed for a few days, front desk staff was nice on check in. The room was clean and comfortable, the tub showed some scratches but that is to be expected. the carpet was in good shape and all the other amenities were in good working order. The breakfast was typical fare, although you are not allowed to remove breakfast items from the breakfast area, they are very strict about this!
Just a cheap clean room. Good enough! My only complaint is that I Never could get the wifi to come on. The continental breakfast was pretty skimpy. We ate out! But staff was very responsive and called when we checked in to see if the room was satisfactory or if we needed anything.
Reasonably priced, clean and allowed pets for only $20 extra. Desk clerk was very nice. A little noisy as was right on the street but good for a one night stay on our way to pick up a new puppy for our family...
We had a pleasant stay at the Knights Inn. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff personable. Very economical but as you might expect, not many frills. We did have a small dog with us and we were charged an extra $20 but, having been charged $75 extra at a nearby hotel on the last trip, we didn't mind!
We arrived around 9 pm to find lobby closed and checking in conducted via a drive-up window. We were the only ones trying to check in; although we had reservations this process took over 15 minutes. We were given a room at he very front of the property - no more than 40 ft from a noisy street resulting in our being awaken by sirens 3 times. The room was an odd mixture of new appointments (carpet, bedding etc) and beat-up furniture plus. It was clean EXCEPT for the mildew on the bath tile which my wife insisted in cleaning off before we used it. This property is in an older neighbor a distance from the interstate. Considering location and condition of the room, it is considerably overpriced compared to its competition.
