Room had a moisture issue. No fan in bathroom so paint was peeling off the walls and anything metallic (faucet, door handles, etc) were rusted/eroding. Ceiling above the beds looked to have black spots as well. Slight chemical smell in the room as well. If it wasn’t for checking in at 1 am after a long day of driving we would’ve demanded another room or left.
Very nice. Friendly staff. Very hard to find. Need a GREAT BIg old sign. Property is virtually invisible.
Housekeeping left my door unlocked. Front desk didn’t think that was a problem. Air conditioner was leaking - carpet was wet, room was musty smelling
Everything was ok but just ok. It looked inside like an older hotel had been renovated. Not really quality craftsmanship. If I had to pick my biggest complaint and really the only big one, it would be the bathroom lighting. New fixtures on ends of mirror aren’t sufficient. And no other (ceiling) light or fan for that matter.
People smoking weed at back of the parking lot. People drinking alcohol out in open. Breakfast was over before I could even make it to breakfast area and they did not refill anything not even the coffee. Elevator was not working and my room was at 3rd floor so it was horrible. Please stay somewhere else.
Front desk person was very RUDE and Nasty will never stay at this one again. Wife had to get our towels from housekeeping to doors down from our room and then they never clean the room that day. Poor training by Manger I am sure. This was the worst stay at a Country Inn my wife and I have ever had period. Do yourself a favor and STAY at a better Hotel..

We are investing a lot in to this asset annually. You will be happy to hear that we are commencing the project of changing all carpets of our guest rooms and the project is scheduled to finish mid April. Thank you for staying with us. We are disappointed to hear about your experience. Our to-go breakfast hours are on weekdays from 6:00am to 9:30am and on weekends from 7:00am to 10:30am. The coffee is also located in the lobby area 24 hours a day. We are sorry that our elevator went down right before check in on Saturday. Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you did not like being told multiple times that you had to wear a mask when you were in our hotel. A mask is required by law in Madison County in any business. We are also sorry that we had to tell you to stop taking pictures of our female housekeepers, as it was making them feel uncomfortable and unsafe. We hope a different hotel can accommodate what you are looking for, as we put the safety of our employees and our guests above one person's need to push back against the systems in place.
