We evacuated from hurricane Irma and stayed at Hinesville location, the staff was wonderful and accomodations were clean and bright, I enjoyed my stay I was so full of anxiety and didnt need any extra, I would recommend this hotel to anyone passing thruy Hinesville, GA
Anytime I need a place to crash in Hinesville I stay here! The owner is a great guy as well as the staff. They are all very personable and accommodating to your needs. They also have the restaurant and bar which is nice if hungry. Rooms are always clean and beds are very comfortable and the prices are great!!! Check them out!
We wanted to get away for a 3 day weekend to Savannah but didn't want to pay what the hotels there wanted. This hotel was very nice and clean. It was also only 35 minutes from the Savannah theater. The only thing I can suggest is that if you need a coffee pot in your room, request it at check-in, or you will have to wait til around 9:30 a.m. for the maids to come in.
Very nice motel. Everything was clean and neat and upgraded except for the bathroom. The tub was a little outdated and the knobs was hard to turn but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. It was quiet and in a nice little cut. There was tons of gas stations. Walking distance to the huddle house and across the street from the Waffle House. Also, has other restaurants and 24 hour gas stations.
Room was clean and updated, the bathroom was not updated. Mini fridge, microwave and free wireless and hot breakfast. Staff was friendly. Comfortable bed. If you need a place to sleep with no frills, highly recommend.
Friendly staff. In a very good location. Lots of restaurants around. The room was nice and clean the only down side was the beds were a little hard and needed more pillows, but having a mini fridge was a nice plus.
Travelling north on I95 on a weekend unless you a have a reservation forget about it. Ended up finding this gem of a hotel about 15 miles off the interstate. $56 was well worth it considering everything around Savannah was well over $100. I mean I'm passing thru not on vacation!
Room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. Pillows were too firm for my comfort, but fine. Had all necessary amenities including fridge and microwave. Furnishings were a bit old but in good shape. Bath was clean and good shower. (Although water does have a foul smell, but that may not be the hotel's fault). Room was quiet, even though it was adjacent to the side road and AC/heater worked well. Breakfast is included - just OK. Located in the attached JJ's restaurant - same thing every day - scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, toast and waffle maker. Not very appealing setting but acceptable. Overall, a nice stay and a Great Value for the price I paid. Would definitely stay again.
This place gets 2 stars only because the maids are very friendly and courteous and the price is reasonable. That said, we've stayed at the Baymont in Hinesville several times for the same price and it was a much better room, breakfast and bed. We were staying in Hinesville visiting family and needed a non-smoking room with a king bed. The breakfast was terrible. Powdered eggs and very small selection, didn't even have milk and cream for the coffee. The bed was hard and pillows were too small. Also our mother in law was staying in a different room and had nowhere to hang her clothes, when she asked to switch or have a clothing rack installed the maintenance man yelled At her. We will never stay here again. Will go back to the Baymont and get a nicer room with better breakfast for the same price. Step it up, Econolodge.
We came to Ludiwici to visit my daughter and her family for Christmas. We checked into our hotel room on Friday, 23 December and the clerk was very nice and told me all about the free breakfast, of which we never had time to try. We also brought along our dog with us and they were very accommodating. Red flag #1: we had to park next to a car with a bumper sticker that actually read, "I Masterbate". This will give you a little bit about the clienentele that was checked in this weekend. Red Flag #2: We requested a non-smoking room. When we got to our room, it wreaked of smoke. So the clerk gave us another room. Our room was clean, but the headboard had holes in it. We didn't really care since we knew we weren't going to be in it but to sleep. Red Flag #3: We were perplexed as to why we were given pillows the size of decorative pillows that you would put on your sofa for a king sized bed. We were given four, but why not just give us regular or kingsized pillows? Needless to say, Saturday morning we left our room at approximately 6:30am with our dog in tow. We came back to our room and it was nice and clean, but towels were for one person? Red Flag #4: Christmas morning, we left our room at 5:30am again, bringing the dog with us. We returned at approximately 10:00pm to find our room had not been touched by any maid. No clean towels, the garbage still in the bin and the bed was not made up. Now remember, we have our dog so our dog tracked in sand, dirt, and grass clippings from outside. We had hard wood floors (or laminate) with no carpeting. There was sand all over the floor of which found it's way into the bed. We called the front desk, thinking the maid may have had Christmas off, and she politely gave us more towels. Monday, we left around 7:30 and again, took our dog. Red Flag #5: We returned back to our room at approximately 9:00pm after walking all over downtown Savannah. We were hot and tired and looked forward to showers and clean sheets. Again, the maid did NOT come to our room. Again, we called and complained, again, we had to go to the lobby for more towels. Red Flag #6: When I called the front desk to complain, she asked if our dog was crated. I said the dog had been with us all day and not in the room. Apparently, the maid said that she heard a dog bark and did not enter the room because of it. By this time, I was livid and even apologizing to the clerk, for complaining! FINAL STRAW: We left our room on Tuesday morning, again with the dog, and came back at 8:30 that night. AGAIN, no clean towels, garbage since Saturday still in the room, sand and dirt all over the floor, and no bed made. I called the desk again and told her that her manager needed to come and see the room, she said the manager was not there. We checked out of our room on Wednesday morning at 5:30 and did NOT leave a tip for the maid. Why should we? I would NOT recommend this dirty hotel to anyone. I guess you really do get what you pay for. Horrible place, even though the clerk was really nice.
