The Carlton George is in a great location. It's literally next door to Glasgow Queen Street train station, which we used frequently. We also walked into the Finnieston area a lot and it's a very doable walk, about 40 minutes. The staff was so kind and accommodating and there's a complementary in-room minibar with darn good whiskey*! We would definitely stay here again. (*Disclaimer: I am not usually a whiskey drinker, so maybe take that with a grain of salt.)
