Pros: Funky, hip lobby. Great lighting in rooms. Updated. Next to airport. That is where it ends. Cons: I travel internationally often and this must be the MOST disappointing experience I have ever had at the conclusion of a lovely trip to Scotland, Where do I begin? You walk in and I knew from the moment at my attempted check in this would be a problem, The check in area is actually a part of the bar. The staff are all early 20 somethings and not equipped or trained to handle problems. No rooms for anyone booked in a double or queen were ready at the check in time. No explanation. No apology. No que to link up properly. A few people who walked in after me were given rooms before me when they were finally ready. The room: USB ports did not work near the bed; the shower was backed up and did not drain. Early flight on New Years Day -- only scalding hot water available. No cold water in sink or shower. Dangerous. No notification to guests. Blowdryer broken. Paper thin ceilings so you can hear everything above you and some below you. What good are updates if nothing works properly? No manager on duty when I checked out to share my visit experience. I am not sure what this hotel is trying to be-- but it is failing on multiple levels. The Marriott brand should consider letting go of this part of their portfolio. It only diminishes the service that this brand is so well known for, Never. Again.

When we checked in, the two staff people were most unhelpful. This morning at 7:30 AM was completely different! The staff were helpful and cheerful👌

very contemporary, youthful....Had trouble figuring the light switches by the bed. very convenient....

Loved the chill atmosphere in this hotel. Great vibe in the lobby downstairs. The rooms are small but super efficient and comfortable. Barely any airport noise. But no working AC? Really? That's ridiculous. I know it's Scotland and it may not often get hot but it was when I was there and my room was like a sauna.

Clean, well-appointed room and friendly staff. Lovely hotel overall.

The temperature control in the rooms doesn't actually function as an air conditioner, so if you are a woman of a certain age, and you arrive on a warmer day, you will need to request the bottom floor. However, I have to say that the staff went above and beyond to find a cooler room for me. They were also extremely helpful regarding taxis, bus schedules, etc.

Great location and concept but needs a lot of work. Pros: close to airport. New and edgey. Cons: Room was not clean and SUPER HOT and air conditioning did nothing. Staff was chaotic and immature at best. Spent a lot of time complaining and making odd comments. No phones in rooms which is really stupid if you need to make local calls.
