Very noisy outside. Made it difficult to sleep. The bed was hard. Staff never came and changed the bedding or anything else for that matter. When I went and bought a burger for dinner. The burger was dry and awful. I had to force feed myself. I won’t be making this a recommendation for anyone.

This is the first time of staying in Moxy hotel and wasn’t sure what to expect / it certainly isn’t up to same standard as hotels in same price and area bracket- feels more like a hostel especially given check-in / reception is in bar area and food is very underwhelming. Main finding area has a 4 piece tv screen with only 3 tvs working.

Our flight was delayed by more than 2hrs, what was supposed to be a late night check-in, ended up being an early morning check-in. Front desk staff assured us of non-cancellation. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and got checked-in without any delay. Welcome gift in the room was a happy surprise and really made our day. Room was dated, yet clean, comfy and quiet. Quite happy with our stay!

Reception welcome was fab however quickly downhill when told dinner options reducedto buffet at 5pm as didnt have all ingredients- then at 5pm girl (chef?) Told us abruptly the full buffet was not bring offered and said she already told someone - who, no idea, colleague? - would be 530pm....walked across the road to the double tree and what a fantastic experience from the service to the food qualiry and quantoty..i know where ill be staying next time

Nice comfy bed in room. However, we could hear a dog barking outside for most of the night disturbing our sleep. Not sure if it was a security dog nearby but annoying as we wanted to keep the window open. Nice friendly staff in the hotel. We did not have anything to eat so cannot comment on food. Complimentary cocktail was nice though! Very handy for early morning flight from Edinburgh airport. Just a short walk to the terminal.
