Property is very close to airport - 200 yards +\-. There is a problem though with the free shuttle service - they will not drive onto property - and simply drive past - “IF” a tour charter bus is sitting in the hotels ONLY single parking spot for a bus. The hotel supposedly has a special place for those charter busses in the back of hotel - but I and others experienced waiting a long time for a tour bus to move - and driver refused hotel staff requests to move. This forced many to choose to walk to airport while pulling luggage a few hundred yards. No taxis stop by cuz drive is so short. Hotel needs to get control of this issue - cuz in Scotland weather even a short walk can be challenging.

Chose this hotel after our Airbnb turnednout to be in a seedy area of Edinburgh that felt unsafe. Nice location very close to the airport. Staff was very nice and the restaurant and bar were very convenient

Convenient

Very near to the rental car center so deop-off was wasy and just walked back to hotel. Shuttle made it easy to get to the terminal with out luggage.

I like it's closeness to the airport. Quiet, and easy access to places we visited in town. However, i was shocked when i went out and came back to my room uncleaned when i gave specific instructions before going out. Had to wait at lounge area after a tired and exhausting day of visiting places. The house keeping quickly just dashed in briefly and came out. It was obvious she did a poor job in an attempt to clean quickly. Also, no movie channels, not even for children channels. So you cant watch a great late night movie while on holiday and my child could not watch any nice kids program cos it was only news and boring channels. I am glad i didn't book several nights as my child started asking to go home.

Excellent hotel for distance from the airport. I would suggest that for safety reasons a path could perhaps be made onto the side road where there is a zebra crossing to make it easier to walk to the airport

The pool is very large and extremely well kept. Lane swimming, clean, sauna, steam room. Fantastic and surprising because it is so large. This is 300 ish yards from the tram to the City and 500 yards from the terminal. Not a problem for able bodied adults with manageable location. Good breakfast. Good place to stay when arriving or leaving the City. Very easy to get into the City on the tram.

Excellent location, very friendly staff..rooms were modern, clean and well kept. LOVED this hotel. We had the BEST valet services who went above and beyond in guiding us and taking care of us. AND the hotel smells GREAT all the time. Right on Victoria Street , a few blocks from the castle and all of city center...the location is perfect.
