Room is clean however overall maintenance of this place needs done. No ice machine on third floor, pool gate lock broken, pool closed for maintenance. Pop machine at pool is out of order. Business office is out of order. I was here 2 years ago and pool lock on gate was broke then - I wonder if it has ever been fixed. Also, pool was closed then too when we stayed. These are easy things to fix and wonder why they are not done. Disappointed in our stay.
This Holiday Inn is picture perfect from the standard look. I stayed here for the Fourth of July and it was very pleasant. Their breakfast was the normal warm breakfast and they kept it stocked. My room was clean and stocked with towels. I can't promise your stay will be this smooth but they did a great job this time!
When I arrive there was no one in the lobby to be for him to help me. Still around for 10 minutes finally some heavyset girl with glasses came in from outside. I ask her about the rates and she called me a really high price. I showed her the posted rates on the Internet for this hotel and she said well there's nothing I can do you'll just have to pay the higher price. Do yourself a favor skip this place. Check the other reviews and you'll see. What I saw it was very dirty.
My wife and I booked a suite for 3 nights over Memorial day weekend. The hotel is relatively modern and in good condition. Breakfast is nice and the staff was always pleasant and as accommodating as possible. With that said, it seems that understaffing or lack of attention to detail is taking its toll on the place. After arriving back at the hotel after our second day, we came to find that our towels had been replaced but trash not removed nor bed made. We are definitely not the type that need to be pampered, but isn't it standard to perform those tasks for a customer? After reporting it to the front desk, we found out that all the housekeeping employees were gone for the day and she was the only one working. So we took out our own trash and made our own bed. Quite disappointing. Some other things we noticed were beetle bugs on our floor that were never picked up, the pool was not cleaned regularly, and there were no chairs placed in the swimming area. All in all, you will be hard pressed to find a better place to stay in Graham. It just seemed like the Holiday Inn brand could have done better.
WiFi did not work regardless of many calls to Lobby. The TV had one channel. The toilet didn't flush. None of the water fountains in the hotel worked. OMG...what a mess. The clerk was very nice, but clueless about wifi. My husband had to teach an on- line law class. No one could help.
Staff, cleanliness, spacious!! Everything was A++! I was checked in by Kaitlin at the front desk, very welcoming and knowledgeable if area. She alone meets IHG customer service standards! The room us spacious and clean! Beds are comfortable. Everything I would expect from IHG! Thanks for the great stay!
This is a clean hotel with very kind staff. They were so accommodating about changing rooms when my tv didn't work, helping me fix a tangled necklace, and with the breakfast. They all made what could have felt like a forgettable, sterile experience feel homey and welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again. Snaps to Stormey the front desk manager!
We were double charged for our room. Check in takes forever. When we told them we had been over charged they said we would get our money back in 3 days, and it was a problem with their bank. Finally had to get my bank involved to get my money back. We stay at this motel every year for the car show, but this will be the last.
The hotel was clean, the desk staff was courteous and the beds were very comfortable. A few minor updates/maintenance could be done (shower, fresh paint, etc). Not much to do in this area. The pool wasn't open yet (March 2017).
Made reservations for a Friday night and when we went to check in at 8:30 that night, the lady at the front said I am sorry we don't have a room for you!! Are you freaking kidding me! She said I am sorry we don't have the room you booked but can put you in a different room. I said I need somewhere for 3 people to sleep! I requested a manager and after the manager came out of hiding she said the same thing. After having to have a fit, she all of the sudden said let me see what I can do....She asked me to take a seat in the lobby and after waiting for approx. 30 min. she said I found you a room. Well I had booked a king suite and prepaid for it and we got a room with 2 double beds that had been SMOKED in!! She told me she would refund my money but nothing has been done yet!
