I was not told ahead of time that this hotel was under construction in every area... the air throughout the hotel was stagnant except for in my room. The TV remote was sticky as can be...I tried to cleaned it with sanitary wipes, but it remained too sticky to hold, so I put it on a wash cloth and just pushed the buttons There was something that had dripped on the floor near the AC unit, there was outside dirt on the shelf under the TV... my coffee maker didn't work. The one working elevator smelled sour. The continental breakfast was bread, sausage patties and what looked to be powdered eggs... I had a cup pf coffee from their prefilled dispenser. The ice machine on my floor was out of order with a sign saying please go to the first floor for ice. All in all, at 67 years old, this was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced.

the shower didn't have any place to put soap, shampoo or a wash rag. The window Curtin didn't keep out the sun and heat. If I would have known that they were in the middle of a renovation I would not have booked there and especially for almost a $100 a night!!

Though the staff were all so wonderful, patient and accommodating (and bless them, because it is not an easy situation !), the hotel is in bad repair. We didn’t have hot water in our room, or the room we were moved to. Finally, the maintenance staff was able to repair the faucet, and that was all good. There was no room telephone, the water from the shower leaked outside onto the floor, there were unsafe electrical connections in the room where other family members stayed, and the breakfast was scant, at best (coffee was very good). There is an enormous amount of updating being done to the space (pool and fitness rooms are not working at this point). It could be such a nice place. Again, I can’t say enough good about the front desk and maintenance staff. They were so kind and helpful.

Property is going thru renovations, so I understand some of the clutter. But my room had no toilet paper OR even a toilet rack to put it on. That should never be a detail that is overlooked. Also the shower door opens opposite to the controls. no way to turn on shower without getting wet. Even with lowered expectations, these are details that no hotel should overlook.

The property was easily assecible to stores and restaurants. The property itself has a nice garden that you can sit have coffe and relax. The property is going through renovations and i predict that is going to be a nice place to stay. I only stayed for three days and usually returned late so i did not get to enjoy more.

It’s under construction. Dust and debris filtered in to the room we stayed in. Broken outlet covers, missing toiletries, the smell of drywall mud, just overall unpleasant. I wish I would’ve know prior to booking the room.
