Best Western Village Inn

Booked this hotel on a Yosemite visit and the reason why I chose this hotel was because it was on the way to Yosemite but still in the city. Another reason was because it had a pool and hot tub which WOULD have been perfect after a days full of hiking and skiing, but both were out of service. There were more hotels on the way to Yosemite so next time I'll pick somewhere closer, but other than that this was a good stay

The has bad paint smell! The room is noisy at night due to the traffic outside. The facilities in the room are old!

Friendly staff who gave us a full list of places to eat.

I travel extensively for my job. I stay in many different hotels. This is the finest Best Western I've encountered.

the hotel is close to the highway thus good to split a trip. the pool was well cared of and the kids enjoyed it after hours of car travel. breakfast was standard, but the space was smaller then ideal. the room was clean, but the non-smoking policy was clearly non-enforced.

We chose this hotel because it was centrally located. The hotel appears to have been remodeled with a motion sensor for the AC, new carpet, and new paints. Our room was clean, bed was ok, the pillows were worn out, and our room never got cool below 76 degrees. The worst of all was the noise from the AC unit (a floor unit). The fan is extremely loud when it kicks on it goes on/off through out the night. In addition, the walls are paper thin, you can hear people walking and talking in the hall or outside. The room service staff were good, they kept the room nice and clean. We didn't tried the complimentary breakfast while stayed at the hotel so can't review the food. The parking lot were crowded our room was in the first building and for both nights there we had to parked all the way toward the end of building 2. Lastly, the hotel appears to have no elevator? I looked for it but couldn't find it. Overall, the experience was ok.

Just a quick overnighter to attend a comedy show in Fresno. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I would stay again.

Hotel was great, very nice breakfast. We were there for work, hotel had easy access to highway needed....would stay there again. Thank you

This Best Western was clean, friendly staff and the breakfasts were awesome ! I would recommend this hotel. Pleasant stay !

Staff was very friendly ,helpful and fast.the room was nice, clean and comfortable will stay there again in the future.

Courteous and pleasant staff, clean room with a comfortable bed, no bath fan. If a restaurant tried to serve a breakfast like that, they would be out of business in no time. The so called scrambled eggs were some kind of reconstituted egg product that I threw in the trash after one bite.

Room is spacious ,bed comfortable.Overall it is a nice hotel deserve its value.

Overall the experience at the hotel was good. The rooms were clean and the pool area was nice and clean.

Great time - spent one night after a journey on the road crossing the Delaware

This is the best Best Western hotel i have ever seen at it's star rating, it was clean, quality bedding, great staff, good breakfast, GREAT VALUE

I found that the Village Inn was easy to locate, and meet my requirements. The staff was helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good. My only complaint was the location, but it was very close to a cross town freeway, which did help.

clean, comfortable and affordable.nice breakfast. excellent coffee in room and nice coofee maker.

Me and my family needed a hotel to stay in for 2 days, and we picked this one. It was an amazing experience starting from the cleanliness of the room to the variety of TV channels to view and the complementary breakfast. The location was spectacular! I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Pros: Location is centrally located, pretty clean, plasma TVs, they ask you your preference of top or bottom floor, pretty vacant, continental breakfast, comfortable beds, front desk staff was friendly, price Cons: Roach on the wall when I woke up in the morning, baby crying next door, loud people conversing in the hall, no lotion or mouthwash in room (only soap, shampoo, and conditioner), no fitness center, very basic continental breakfast, heater was loud, entrance was hard to find, when I drove up there were some questionable characters out front

First; The day before my stay I rec. an e-mail saying there may be a problem regarding handicap accom. and there was...NONE of the rooms had any handicap accom, all that they did have was a rail at the back of the tub. If I had known that I would not have stayed, but it was to late to change. The Hotel...as above, did not have handicap accom., the hallways smelled of smoke and my lungs told me that there was smoke there as they filled up and got congested, the toilet did not flush properly, I guess they tried to fix it, could not, so left a plunger in the room?? celling leaked over toilet, from room above & had leak above tub also, shower water went from freezing cold to scorching Hot over & over while showering, bathroom lights kept going out even when in the shower,& became very dark, sink drained very slowly, breakfast was cold when should have been hot, food was spicy, I can not do spicy, not very good at all. Sign outside said newly remodeled, if so it has been years and needs updating again SOON with HANDICAP ADDITIONS. TOLD FRONT DESK WAS TOLD WE WOULD BE CALLED STILL NOTHING, WHY NOT DO THEY NOT CARE??? Very, Very disappointed.

I do apologize you were unable to use the spa, it is out of service and has been taken off as an amenity. The pool however is up and running but not heated and has never been. I do hope you will return, we are working on a solution for the spa.

I do apologize for the smell, it was actually refinish for the tubs, we had the rooms out for a few days it was just a very strong smell. The hotel is an older property however the rooms have been upgraded with new carpet, drapes, TV's and Bedding. Soon to get new furniture. I am sorry you experience the noise issue as well, we would have gladly moved you to an inner room to alleviate that issue. Please know we want our guest to enjoy their stay and we would like another chance to make that happen. If you are ever in Fresno again please see me personally, Angela Hobbs General Manager
