This little inn is an older facility that has been well--preserved. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The location is near a main road and is a little loud. No frills little inn, but very clean, tidy, and the friendly staff make up for it. Also -- very comfortable pillows. We had a lovely time.

The staff was friendly and the grounds well kept. The location is very convenient to HEB and to Main St. The walls are super thin -- could hear conversations and the TV in the next room as well as voices and doors closing in the hall. It didn't sound like the other guests were raising their voice. Not much room on the bathroom vanity, especially for a "King" room, so if you like to take your makeup out of the bag to use it, or if there are 2 guests sharing counter space, one will most likely need to put their stuff on the counter by the TV. Property has Direct TV. I was there on a weekend and couldn't find a local channel for news or anything else besides really outdated movies. I prefer options with local channels and national news/weather. When I did find a news channel, the program guide said it wouldn't start until "Sunday at 9 am" or "Monday at 6 am." I was going to be gone Saturday morning. The price was VERY reasonable (under $100/night with taxes/fees), and the room was clean. The hot water (and water pressure) was great. Refrigerator was handy. Breakfast ok -- waffle maker is always a plus -- but boiled egg was more like "poached" because it was runny. It's a good place for one or 2 nights, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay if you're a light sleeper.

I had a wonderful stay at Wine Country Inn! The price was absolutely worth it, offering great value for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The location was excellent—conveniently close to everything in Fredericksburg. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more pleasant. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had an issue with the heat however the gentleman was very helpful. I found the bed uncomfortable and the one my cousin slept in made a tin like sound every time she got on it.

The place was acceptable. Its not the Trump Towers. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Will say the bed is hard as a rock if you like that type of bed.

Clean and convenient

It was clean and updated. The front desk was very hospitable even when there was some computer complications with our booking. Location was quiet but the rooms and hallways were not, but in their defense it was New Years Eve!
