Absolute Nightmare

4th Floor and no lift. Old building with no air-conditioning : 35degrees had to leave windows open (noisy) = no sleep !!! No Breakfast even on request !!! Never back there !!!

this is my 5th visit to the hotel. Cleanliness of rooms especially bathroom is lacking (dirty floor, hair on the floor, rooms were not cleaned daily). They urgently need to add a safe into the rooms. TV programs were removed (less options in comparison the previous years).

Great place

We had a great stay in every way. The location is peaceful but has a couple of shops and restaurants nearby. Room was very comfortable. The only thing that might disturb someone is the lack of an elevator.

Surreal blast of an Eastern European past

In desperate need of renovations (and change of management, maybe) Towels worn out and stained, moldy shower curtain, safe not working; awful cleaning service: dusty, smeared mirrors; one day during my stay room was left unlocked after cleaning; Overall a surreal experience.

I was in Frankfurt for a conference and booked seven nights at the Fair Hotel Villa Diana Westend. Europe was in a heatwave, so the room, with no AC and no fan was uncomfortable, and the window only opened a crack. This is typical in Europe and not the fault of the hotel. My main complaint is that, while the router was located in the hall, less than 6 meters from the desk in the room where I wanted to work, I could only get an internet connection by going into the hall and sitting right next to the router. Breakfast was sufficient, but at 8 Euros a bit over priced. Checking out the neighborhood, there are better hotels for about the same price.

Hotel would have been okay, but the listing is misleading. It SAID that there was air conditioning. I went down to reception, and the attendant said that NONE of their rooms had air conditioning. It was a busy time in Frankfurt, so we could not find another place if we were to get refunded, so we stuck it out. It was miserable. They threw us on the fourth floor (stairs, no elevator), which was MUCH hotter than outside. We left the windows open. It started raining. The rain came into the room through the window, but we NEEDED to keep the window open because it was so miserably sticky and hot. I felt like I was suffocating, and could never fall asleep. Don't say you have air conditioning if you don't. I was SPECIFICALLY searching for hotels with air conditioning because I KNEW it would be hot out. I chose this hotel under the false message that it had air conditioning. Refund me, fix your listing, and i'll change my review.

peaceful neighbourhood

Nice hotel for the price, spacious room and very peaceful neighbourhood. Quiet and feels safe at night. On the downside there is no lift and location is not central, but it's not an issue if you drive.
