Frankfurt Marriott Hotel4.5 out of 5.0

It's a typical city centre Marriott with nice service, good rooms but nothing super special. The gym here is very average but big enough that it doesn't really matter how busy it gets. The executive lounge is big but so it the hotel so be prepared for it to get a little crowded during busy times, (amazes me there is only one coffee machine!). The rooms are nice, recently refurbished and the bed, as always, is comfortable. During my most recent stay the only complaint I had was the fact they didn't empty the bin during cleaning, a small thing but still a little less than the normal Marriott standards!
For a business meeting we stayed in the Marriott in Frankfurt. It is a modern facility with nice rooms and modern bath room facilities. As the rooms are on high floors the city view is stunning. The breakfast is remarkable good and I suggest to try the omelet as it is one of the best I tried in the last months. The hotel has a large sports bar and the meeting facilities are good. I was surprised by the food truck which sells good quality hamburgers outside. Nice gimmick and a positive surprise of this good hotel.
Was here for two nights while at a conference in Frankfurt. Good location and a good hotel to stay at. During my stay my contact with staff was very good all the way through. The room was spacious, well equipped and clean.
Exactly what I would expect from a Marriot class hotel. Rooms clean and nicely sized, breakfast was great as usual. Staff very friendly Location is great, near the Convention Center (Messe). Tram station like 50 meters from the hotel can take you to the main train station. The view from the 29th floor was really nice.
This is a nice hotel. It is huge so expect to see a lot of business people checking in. The only downside is the elevator-- it takes forever to get to one. However, the great view in my room pretty much made up for it.
I had a great stay at this Marriott. The staff is professional and the hotel is very well maintained. My room was comfortable and well appointed. I had a meal at the bar downstairs and it was decent. Breakfast was more than decent with a wide variety of choices and attentive staff. As the weather was good (for Germany) I ran outside instead of going to the gym. There is a park a few kilometers away that makes for a nice run. The location is great if you are attending an event at Kap Europa as I was - a few minutes walk. Frankfurt Hbf is about a 10 minute walk. Overall, a very nice experience and I would recommend it.
great location ,The best part is that the hotel is across the street and a 15 minutes walk to the Messe Frankfurt exhibition. Decent Breakfast with an omelette chef . delicious hamburgers in the Champion's restaurant comfortable beds. Rooms clean and quite with great views. away.lovely hotel. helpful staff the city is just a footstep
Lovely hotel..Expensive but for the location..comfort and views ...well worth every penny. Centrally located..Service was okay at best...Lovely finishings and comfortable home away from home. Would stay again..if my pockets allowed me..
This hotel is located smack in the middle of what I would call a business/conference area, a bit North from the main station. The hotel itself is called "& Conference Center" on the facade. If you need to be in this area (office buildings, Messe Frankfurt) then it's a good location. Otherwise it's a bit dead on weekends and at night. Not much to see or do if you like to walk around. Of course you can take the tram or the U-Bahn or a taxi but I usually like to do everything by foot. There is a shopping mall next to the Messe though. I didn't visit so can't talk about it. Walking from the train station too me 20-30 minutes roughly. You can also take the U-Bahn (2 stops) but still need to walk the last stretch. Or easier, take the trams (2 or 3 lines running from the station to the hotel). Get a short trip ticket for EUR 1.85 and you're set. Takes less than 10 minutes (4 stops) but it stops right in front of the hotel. Good size room, clean and spacious with a nice King size bed. The view was great but since the building is L shaped, you also have a nice view on the neighbours' rooms :) One power outlet on each side of the bed, which is great. If you do get access to the Executive Lounge, it is located on the top floor (43) and is accessible only with a key that is activated for it. There are a couple of guest rooms on that floor as well. You need to swipe your card once again at the door of the lounge. There was absolutely no one there when i visited after breakfast, at around noon. There wasn't even an attendant manning the welcome desk, which meant that there were a few tables with dirty dishes and used papers laying around. The lounge is split in several smaller salons and offers great views over the city. I didn't see any spirits or wines (or maybe they only bring them out in the evening for the happy hour). Just soft drinks, beers, hot drinks, some cakes and muffins. Now that I see the pictures, I didn't open the fridge on the left... maybe there were wines there...
Can you imagine arriving at the Marriot Hotel at 10.30 pm to get your room ... and the lady just tell you that they have an overbooking situation and there is no more room for you. So you have to walk 5 minutes, with your carry on to another hotel where they booked a room for you. Sincerely, we are in 2017. They have my phone and my email but no one took the time to get in touch with me ? What a terrible customer experience ! Plus, the hotel they put me in does not seem to be the same category. Go to the Marriot and get the worse customer experience ....
