It was a very comfortable room. The bed was perfect, so comfortable. But the location was a bit a far from the city. I need to take train to go city for shopping, about 7 stops? Fortunately the transportation system was good so it wasn’t a really big problem. It just takes time. The food was also not that delish.
Big and maybe therefore the staff is cold and less friendly. Lobby is nice. Hotel has a good location. Room is big however renovation would be a great addition to this Hotel. This Hotel failed to touch and get me as client who would say i come back 4 sure.
Very clean and well appointed business hotel. Staff was very nice and very helpful. My only wish was that there was a lobby store with some souvenirs for those who dont have opportunity to get out to shop. Also, would like to see some more shops or breakfast placez for a quick pastry or coffee near the hotel!
Besides the reception of the Fitness/Spa area : "Access to Sauna only in special shoes, not barefoot or in socks - because you have to walk through the fitness machine room" the combination of local company management policy and staff flexibility was great. note: neither on the local hotel website nor in the global Marriott Callcenter dialogue about visiting the Sauna area was a remark about having to bring along special sport shoes for Sauna access. Everything else besides the elevator software (which accepts a call to far away level 25 when you have pushed the "Lobby" button to get from level 2 to 0) was VERY helpful : 1.) permission to have free of charge lunch in another event group to bridge the waiting time (as Sauna usage was not possible) until the own event starts. 2.) personal help with power supply connectors for laptops and smartphones in the waiting area 3.) immediate personal help with selecting the right elevator level for the attended event when entering the hotel 4.) great catering within the event
Had some hair on my towel - I don't know if they were washed properly but it was disgusting. Check-in was my worst experience ever. Receptionist did not want to check me and my colleague in because "we had no proof we work for the company" - business trip which was booked by a travel agency on our name with our personal ID. It was 9pm and we were really tired from the trip and the last thing a customer wants is unexpected and really unnecessary trouble - the worst sentence which came out of the receptionists mouth was "I'm sorry, but we cannot check you in as your IDs are not sufficient and we need a proof that you work for a certain company from which we had the business trip (what?!!!!). The service at the reception was very poor and the absurd part was that our company emails on the end of booking confirmations were sufficient as a proof- it was actually possible to add them on the PC so I don't really get the whole point...However the personell on breakfast was very kind and welcoming (at least someone when the receptionists were not welcoming at all)... I am very disappointed from this experience and would recommend some staff training on the reception...
The hotel in the vibrant city offer great rooms with spectacular city views and convenient cafe and dining experiences on the lower level. It's close the train station and other city attractions such as the Festthalle (festivall hall).
I stayed at the Marriott for 3 nights in a row and boy oh boy was I happy! I got a good deal on the executive suite on the 42 floor with an amazing view and of course breakfast included as well as access to the lounge. Joanna at the reception was so very helpful and nice. I’m really happy with everything at this wonderful hotel.
The hotel may need a refurbishment, but the staff is very attentive and smiling. Taxis are available from outside and the city center is just 15 mins walk, and an enjoyable one. The bed is comfortable and overall the room was quite
Because it is just was opposite of Frankfurt Messe (fair ground), it is always well booked and probably there is no need for nice rooms or service (both the hotel does not have); prices can skyrocket and still the hotel might be sold out - it is for sure not one of the nice Marriott places in Germany, but a lucrative one (for Marriott).
Ideal hotel for 1/2 nights in the event of a visit to the motor show, etc. The hotel is directly across the street where the car show is. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious. Great breakfast!! Pancakes, omelets, everything you want. I certainly recommend the hotel on a business trip. What I expecting, I got it...
