It was an special stay, nice staff, super friendly, great breakfast, the location was super convenient for business. I arrived early and the staff helped me to get a room early, thanks a lot for that.

Good location near the train station. Not the nicest area - bunch of lowlife's hanging around the neighborhood at night. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Reading some of the reviews, I though the hotel was going to be horrible. It's clean. The room though small (single twin bed which is what I rented) was well appointed and clean. The hotel has a quite active bar and there's a good Italian restaurant across the street. Frankfurt was really busy the nights I stayed and this hotel worked out great. Cheap, well located and clean. Tough to criticize.

Max at the front desk was great. He was very professional and thorough in his job as were all the staff I encountered. The location was super convenient, in walking distance to city center. Coming from the states, this was an excellent value with the great service, location, quality of the property and amenities. See you next time I'm in Frankfurt!

Hotel location is perfect as its basically next door to the train station. Staff was excellent and the food was fantastic. I had their BBQ rib special and even being a Texan thoroughly enjoyed. Will make this my regular spot on my Frankfurt layovers.

It was hot in Frankfurt when I checked in and I knew this hotel is not air conditioned so I was a bit worried. But my room (room 301) was surprisingly cool and there was a high speed fan therein. It could be that the wonderful person at the reception who checked me in gave such a room when I showed some concern about heat and a lack of air conditioning, which, according to him, is being installed and will be ready in a few weeks. Location is fine near to the main train station. Breakfast is fabulous and room amenities are more than satisfactory WIFI was fantastic.

The proximity to the Frankfurt hbf is the obvious plus here. Sure, it's near the red light district and the noise level (mostly loud talking and some occasional random yelling late at night) is on the high side, especially since the rooms have no AC so you might have the window open. But the Frankfurt police seem to have a handle on things and there are far more normal people walking around so you always feel safe. The 'red light' district is actually several blocks over. While the rooms are on the small side (about average for most of Europe), they are laid out very intelligently. So there is good storage space as well as good counter space in the bathroom. A minor annoyance is the shower that only has a half partition and no door so water will inevitably get outside. But the water pressure was excellent. The free wifi is fast enough to watch streaming video- very nice! The free (!) breakfast buffet is better than most paid breakfasts I've had. And they run it until 10:30a which is awesome for vacationing late risers like me! Yeah, that room key and key chain are big and a bit heavy. But I can deal with it. All in all, I would totally stay here again. A+

Location is great, literally to 2 mins from Main Station. It is a walk or Euro 5- 8 to Alt Stadt. The room was small but European standard...really...not very shocking. They have a grand breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

The hotel is close to the train station and the room is very clean. Although the hotel is conveniently located, the surroundings do not have enough restaurants and places to visit.

Stay was very pleasant, quiet and in walking distance to the main railroad station. Breakfast was excellent and the staff super. Use the green or red sightseeing bus line outside the rail road station. Buy the hop on-hop off ticket for a whole day. (13Eu/person). It is 15min from the Main river and >30 min to the old part of town.

It was a really nice stay while on transit. It was comfortable, clean and great service. Would recommend to other and I will stay there again when I go to Frankfurt.

First, the good: it's very conveniently located two blocks from the main train station in Frankfurt (which is what we were looking for). Also, the hotel staff is friendly. The breakfast isn't too bad, although I wish there was cappuccino (there was only weak coffee). But the bad: the hotel is noisy/rooms have thin walls, even with the windows closed. There were stains on the carpet, the rooms lacked amenities such as lotion and hair caps, but worst of all were the pillows- one pillow per bed was provided which would be fine except they were the thinnest, flimsiest pillows ever. Even with the pillow folded over it was like laying without a pillow. I have neck issues and I slept badly and woke up with a headache. Oh, and I requested a non-smoking room but the room smelled very musky so I'm guessing I received a smoking room instead. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at all.

Perfect! Super friendly staff! Amazing breakfast! Clean room!

I spent one night at this hotel. My flight got in very early (6:15 local time) so I got to the hotel well ahead of check in time. While they didn't have a non-smoking room available (as I requested), the smoking room I was given (which was ready when I got there at about 8:00) was certainly tolerable. I booked the cheapest room option available, and while it wasn't overly spacious, the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast in the morning was included and quite good: eggs, bacon, sausage, baked goods, juice, and coffee, and WiFi was free for 24 hours and quite quick from my room (streaming YouTube with no buffering). About a five minute walk from the train station. Very good (not great) value for the price.

The location is OK, Not great - lot of drug users in the area (I am often in FRNKFRT, it is all the area); Main problems - NO AC - it was hot (June 11) and my room was like a sauna, the staff response -"it is what it is - no AC in the hotel. Wifi - half of the rooms the Wifi not available -be careful if important. The one positive -breakfast was a nice surprise. beyond expectations Bottom line -There are so many better options in the area and the city

The hotel was nice and staff were great. The pillows were less than desirable as they are very flat and offer no support. The surrounding neighborhood was a little shady and scary. The hotel was in walking distance if the Festhalle and public transportation including the Hauptbahnhof!

Hotel room is small but clean. Location is close to everything. Bars and restaurants are around - I like the Chinese Restaurant just around the corner. Very authentic chinese food. The complimentary breakfast is good/

If one is looking for a cheap hotel, then Bristol Hotel Frankfurt is that. Rated 4 star but I rate it as 2 star, and that is being generous. The hotel is dark and has a spongy air about it. Single rooms are cell like and the amenities leave a lot to desire for. The breakfast is good and the staff are friendly but the hotel needs to be refreshingly refurbished. Not a place to go if you expect to relax in a clean and tranquil surrounding after a working day.
