Stayed at Fleming's a few times now. It's perfect for the messe. Lovely staff, honestly they couldn't be nicer. Great rooms...you just need to get your head around showering in a glass box. Good choice for dinner (schnizel for me and pumpkin curry for my friend...see pic) and a comfortable bar area, ideal if you've spent a day at the exhibition halls!
We had a very nice check in, very friendly. Our room 017 was on the ground floor but it was ok. The bed was comfortable and not too soft. Nicely renovated bath room. We had a few drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and the prices were good and not too high. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of goods and freshly done eggs. Overall, a nice hotel, a bit pricy but that is Frankfurt.
My flight was delays so didn’t arrive until gone midnight and was checking out for work at 7am.....but check in ok. Staff efficient. Room ok, though noise from the tram line. Nice touch having still and sparkling water in the room. Shower looked dated but was good temp and powerful. Lift slow so allow time if needed. All in, ok but nothing standout on my short visit.
Bad experience and service... The heater was broken the night I checked in, and the hotel had only 1 staff, who is first day at work, who apparently dont know what to do with this. I dont blame him.. but how can they just put everything on a the poor guy with no experience to solve all problems he is not familiar with in such big hotel?! I was freezing for a night, and I was sick that night as well. No rest at all... The following morning, at 8am, when I talked to the manager, she was in a total defending position, although all I asked for at the beginning was to cancel the rest of the 2 nights for my booking. Got refused...Really bad response on the issue, all they do is basically saying its my fault, must be me not able to turn on the heater correctly.... And even my agent said its absolutely the first time they got refused to cancel any hotel booking at such an early notice. I havnt even asked for compensation yet.... I was forced to come back, because they dont return any money at all, no apology, and even wasnt ready to change my room the second day. All I got as a reply was.. there was no problem with the heater... ok, i will email my company to take the hotel down from the company booking portal... bad hotel service I have to say.
I enjoyed staying in this hotel. Rooms are clean and conveniently located very near the ISH fair. People are very friendly and knowledgeable and provide great service. I recommend this hotel. Breakfast was great as well.
We stayed one night at this hotel whilst on holiday with friends. Check in staff were polite, friendly and spoke English. Rooms were tidy and warm, although the wall between them shower and the bed takes a little getting used to! The breakfast selection was excellent. My husband particularly enjoyed the eggs and bacon. Check out was quick and efficient, and the hotel were happy to look after our luggage for the day whilst we explored the city.
We stayed for a night at the Fleming's Hotel on Hamburger Allee whilst visiting friends. The hotel itself is well kept, however we had a terrible experience checking in. They could not find our reservation at the desk - they did not proactively offer to help and treated us like we were making up our reservation and turned us away to sort it out ourselves. I went back to the desk to ask if I could use their phone to call the website we booked with but they refused saying they could not let me use their phone, I asked if I could use their wi-fi to get the reservation email - I was told no it is only for guests. I made the call myself in the end and the reservation was found but only after an hour of messing around and trying to get some help from unsupportive staff. The hotel could not have been any less helpful in a situation - no apology, no room upgrade. If you make a mistake try being apologetic, if you have a customer in front of you who is concerned about not having anywhere to stay for the night you should be trying to help and not turning them away.
I stayed here for one night on a business trip in Frankfurt. The room offered was very spacious, but a bit outdated. Bathroom was integrated in the room and had a big rain shower and all necessary amenities. Free and fast WiFi is offered in the entire hotel. No need to upgrade, even when connected to the office network. Breakfast is sober but offering all you need. You can order freshly fried eggs. The hotel has its own, small parking garage, but if not to busy, you can also park in the street. Summary: Flemings offers you all you need on a business trip at a fair price.
I stayed in Fleming's Hotel - Frankfurt Hamburger Allee from 24 Apr - 20 May 2016. The unit allocated for my stay was on level 5 though the room number states as 451. The lift stops at level 4 so I have to carry the luggage up to level 5, a really inconvenience given the weight and no porter however the front desk manager was really sweet to carry a bag to the room for me. The room is cozy, suitable for single occupant, comfortable bed, writing desk; room is equipped with a small kitchenette complete with cooking utensils, cutlery etc. The funishings and bathroom are modern together with quality toiletries. The unit that I have occupied is an apartment hence the kitchenette, however I would assume a regular hotel room in Fleming's would be equally comfortable and of quality starndard. The buffet breakfast spread is awesome and service is fantastic with very attentive staffs. The quality of the food is excellent, the restaurant is always booked out every day during lunch (popular for business lunches). I love their grilled salmon, wiener schnitzel, brownies and kaiserschmarrn (shredded pan cake served with jam and whip cream). Kaiserschmarrn is not on their regular menu however the chef is so obliging, he will prepare the dish whenever I ordered it, I totally give the thumbs up for this dish and the chef's accommodation for my request. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the staffs are friendly and helpful (from the Front desk to house keeping, service staffs and obliging chefs) and the location of the hotel is great (8 mins walk to the S bahn) and a station away from Frankfurt Messe (Convention Center). I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Frankfurt.
April-May is white asparagus season in Frankfurt and most restaurants serve it. Best simply prepared with potatoes and Hollandaise. I prefer to add veal but ham and salmon are frequent choices. We stopped in the Flemming restaurant on the way home from a long walk around Frankfurt. It was a nice little restaurant. Good food and service. Nice bottle of wine. Strawberries with ice cream were a great dessert choice. Good choice at the end of the day.
