Hilton Garden Inn Frankfurt Airport

3.0 out of 5.0

We stayed overnight before our flight home from Frankfurt. Outside of the very confusing driving situation outside of the airport, this was a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. There are plenty of places to get dinner in the airport accessible from the hotel. We decided to shop at a supermarket to get healthier options, which worked out well.

Very good for over night or have business near Airport.

Great place to stay the night before a flight. It's a bit pricey, but very comfortable and well staffed, and literally is right above the Frankfurt Airport train station. You just take an elevator up from the trains to the hotel. And you just walk about 5 minutes through interior spaces to get to airline check-in (at least for Lufthansa).

Always greeted by friendly staff, no matter what hours in the evening you arrive!

The people working at this hotel are very professional and very friendly. The room was not expensive, but the furnishings and size of the room -- impressive. The bathroom was beautiful and comfortable. The convenience of being attached to the airport by a pedestrian bridge is priceless. However, the walk from the airport to the hotel is not short. Be prepared for a 8-10 minute walk to get there. Not a problem for us, but might be for others. The restaurant had a very nice menu and the waiters were very willing to speak in English; very clear English. Normally, I make an effort to speak in German, but we were very tired. The breakfast is worth buying in advance since it is an impressive array of foods of high quality. Otherwise, buying the breakfast as an after thought would have been a little pricey.

The location is perfect if you are needing to be close to the airport. It is directly across the street from Terminal 1 (only takes about 5-8 minutes to walk through the Squaire/train station to the hotel which is on top floor, in the back) Just look for the big DB sign and go up the escalators. No shuttles necessary unless you arrive from Terminal 2. The airport runs a 5 minute shuttle bus over to Terminal 1 to save you from walking through the airport and drops you off right in front of the Squaire. Different travel adapters were built into the walls and bathroom which was a nice surprise. We stayed in both the King and Queen rooms. The king room was large and cozy, with a fun view of the autobahn and planes taking off. The Queen room is identical to the King, just slightly smaller with a beautiful view of the forrest and Frankfurt skyline. Breakfast is very good, worth paying for. Lots to choose from to eat. buffet style with the choice of both American style hot breakfast as well as European style with rolls/cold cuts/cheese/fresh fruit, etc. The staff here are super friendly, very helpful, friendly to children and speak great English. it is directly on top of the ICE and regional train stations which is another huge bonus. Will stay here again next summer for sure.

Great hotel and location with the worst wi-fi of my trip. Had to go to the lobby most of the time to get a signal and the desk was aware of it but had no answer. Also could not print boarding passes in the business center because computers had not been updated and the desk said this had been a problem for a few months. Finally the desk agent agreed to print them for me from her computer.

Excellent location very clean well run hotel, nice rooms and fitness center, very good breakfast

The hotel is in the Frankfurt Flughafen/Bahnhof complex. It is a 10 to 15 minute enclosed walk to regional trains/international trains/airline terminals. It is an excellent place to stage travel from.

Incredibly quiet. Jumbo jets were roaring above and we heard nothing. Room was immaculate and very safe. You need your room card to access the elevator. Staff in the hotel and restaurant were first class. The food in the restaurant was extremely overpriced. 40 Euro for a cup of soup and one flatbread and a beer. Room was unusually chilly with no way to warm it up. Overall good place

We stopped by Frankfurt to transfer flight. We found this hotel's location is perfect. It is in The Squaire which is attached to the airport.

It was really close from the terminals. My room was clean and neat. The hotel staff were extremely kind and informative. I cannot expect anything better!

Very convenient to all airline and train connections...

At the airport (as in you don't have to walk outside), good hotel. Only issue I had was the bed was hard. Room clean, nice. Lobby & staff great. Clean. Onsite restaurant. Walk to train platform or to/from flight all inside vs some AirPort hotels that require a walk outside or shuttle ride. I would stay again.

Quiet and comfortable, and priced right. Although it is situated over a busy train station, next to a busy road, and adjacent to Germany's busiest airport, the hotel is VERY quiet and restful. Subdued lighting and a sensible climate control system that doesn't sound like a jet engine makes for a serene interlude in the frenetic world of travel.

Spacious room, professional staff, and very convenient location -- right upstairs from the Frankfurt Airport railway station, and it's a short all-indoor walk to the air terminal.

walk to T1 departures in about 15 min indoors. very close to rail line. very nice bathroom with full size bathtub. coffe and tea maker

very nice and comfortable. Very convenient to in-out of airport, no need to catch a shuttle.

Clean hotel, easy access to Fernbahnoff and FRA flughafen.

Easy to get to, we didn't have to leave the airport!
