Staff is ok, however the worst thing is the parking lot. Imagine, we hired a 7 seater Ford Galaxy and it took 3 people to help look at the sides to maneuver through the extremely narrow entrance to the underground parking. We took more than 15 minutes just on that particular spot. The parking is Hopeless. The rooms are small and I would consider this too expensive. Rooms are however clean and thus, no issue on cleanliness.
Staffs are not the friendly. They work as they are forced to do it. The room seems nice until I open the toilet room. The shower looks really cheap as I am staying in hostel. There are some smell and even worse, the glasses are super dirty (I left it there for a day and expected that they will see and change it for me but nope, I have to go to lobby and complain about it then I get a new one.
A three stars hotel at the best with five stars prices when you are attending a conference in the trade center. Although the price, the location is excellent for those who don't want to waste 30-45 min in a taxi queue after attending a trade fair.
Receptionist needs lessons in politeness and a better service attitude - worst experience I have had in 25 years of travelling. Following the "welcome" I received while checking in, I do not plan on staying at this hotel ever again.
I visited Frankfurt for 2 days, the hotel is close to main train station, thats why its very noisy, all night ambulance and police cars passed, not easy to sleep. I booked online, when I arrived the person in charge offered me 7th floor room where you need to use stairs after the 6th floor. I said no problems if the room is large, standard. He confirmed that it is same size double room... But it was not, its smaller than other floor rooms, I found a chance to check the other rooms (during waiting elevator a room was open for cleaning) and saw myself the big difference size... And the hotel was empthy, many avaible rooms at other floors. The person in charge just wanted to give 7th floor small room when he see me a single man. I asked why he did so, he could not answer proper, just repeated that the rooms are standard... Anyway, for me mercure hotels are ended, and advise other travellers to think once again for this max 2 star 4 star(!) hotel ....
First of all I have the worse scenario in my live regard hotel, I made reservation for two weeks from Nov 11 to 24th based on my company recommendation they advice me for your hotel in frankfurt, when I came I totally shocked when I found that room very narrow and not clean too, no water bottle in the room I told the receptionist AHMED about my concern and what is the advice to cancel my reservation in a peace, he become so aggressive and he told me you can't cancel and because you told about I will deduct the full amount for the two weeks , I told him please find a peaceful solution I can stay for two days then you cancel my remaining days but he totally refused, I have to accept as I don't know what to do or where I go, anyway can you do somthing regard this conflict please.
Great service and extremely well cleaned hotel, staff was courteous and helpful, location is extremely good mainly if you are driving as the central station is one block away. If you are driving the garage is extremely small and tight to get in and out at the cost of EUR15. Breakfast is very good at EUR17 per person.
Sketchy location which seems not safe at night. No gym or restaurant. Usurious 400€ per night during event for a single that makes a dorm room look good. The only positives are that the staff was friendly and the room was clean.
Stayed there during a fair in Messe. The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to the fair. Other than that it is not worth it for the price they make you pay. As an example they charge you 17 Eur for breakfast .
The Accor marketing team should have labelled this hotel Ibis as the is not a Mercure standard hotel. Our bedroom and bathroom were city centre but the quality of the decor and bed linen were poor. The entrance, bar and breakfast room needs to be completely refurbished the only saving grace were the helpful staff.
