Location of hotel is excellent for a traveler through Central Train station. Approach to Zeil Shopping district and sight seeing bus stop is very convenient through Tram station which is at the main gate of the hotel. Food options from breakfast to dinner are available in few steps away from hotel. Overall, nice place to be in Frankfurt with Family.
The hotel is located just behind the central station. The surroundings are not so attractive like for many central stations . The administration of the hotel is friendly but somehow cumbersome I had to pay all in advance although it was a business booking and I work for a large bank. Argument by the Clark my gold visa was not a "credit card". The rooms are ok, functional. I liked the coffee machine with free capsules and the bathroom goodies. Breakfast is okay. The common grounds would need some refresh. A special thanks to the kind staff who prepared a lunch bag for me since I had to leave very early before breakfast, I appreciated. Note: there is no restaurant in the hotel but the concierge will advise you.
just left after a 4 night stay here. an accor member, i stay at a lot of accir properties worldwide. here are my inputs: first, the good part 1) location : its spot on. bang opposite to hauptbahnof, the main station of frankfurt. ut makes travelling to airports or wherever by train in europe or within the city very very convinient. exactly below the hotel is a tram station and it connects you to all major tourist spots like ROMER and ZEIL in less than 15 minutes. 5 star for location. sorroundings: area near the hotel is very busy and safe. lots of restaurants and shops around. mcdonalds and starbucks too are just a walk away. just be careful frm zombie type guys selling 'substance'. just ignore them, they wont bother you. reception staff: the staff at reception is awesome. the pakistani guy ,WAQQAS was extremely helpful and ready to guide at all times. now, the not so good part, room size: room is the smallest possible that you could have got. i stayed alone, but impossible for 2 people to be comfortable there. bathooms and shower area are the smallest possible. breakfast: they serve exactly the same breakfast everyday. not too many options (at least for us asians) but decent. no live counters at all. no lobby: wen here, u r either in the room or out side the hotel. dont expect any place to sit doown and chat or just chill as lobby is non existent. overall a decent place to stay but certainly doesnt match up to mercure at other places.
Nice rooms, and you get good price per value rate. The location is very comfortable for people that are traveling independently of the reason, everything is close or reachable. Nice rooms, nice bathroom, so I recommend this place.
I had an awful experience as the room was smoky smells bad till I could hardly breath and sleep even with the window open. I had reported to the reception but nothing they could do as all rooms were all occupied hence not able to change room. I was very disappointed as the following day I had to travel and I was not able catch some sleep. I stay on the 3rd June (Saturday) Room 105.
The hotel is located close to the main station, restaurants and shopping area. Rooms are small but tidy. All basic equipment provided. Recommended for short trips when proximity counts. Very kind and helpful staff.
Very bad customer service during the checkin. The front desk guy (26.05.2017, 6 pm) was unfriendly and impolite. The location is good, close to the train station. The elevator is very small (is really small) The hotel is ok, but far away from the usual Mercury quality.
Good location, just right to the H (Tram station)and 30 meter from FF Huapbahnhof. Easy to connect to transportation systems. Room is good, I like Japanese food, especially Sushi. The good thing is, there is a Sushi buffet restuarant nearby.
The hotel is close to the railway station, it is easy to walk to the hotel. The hotel only serves breakfast and the restaurants around it are mostly small and serve ethnic food. It is better to walk to the main streets that lead to the railway station and to experience the food there
It looks like an Ibis (economy chain) more than a Mercure. No restaurant for dinner, and very basic breakfast. Room very small. Bar is a desk next to reception. Only positive... still have the minibar, rarer nowadays at this level of places.
