Christoff checked us in. I found him to be curt in his replies to me. I do not believe it was language issue, but perhaps a cultural issue.I noticed a shuttle schedule to the airport on the desk. We inquired about it. For 4 euros pp, it would bring you to the airport. It didn’t pick us up at our hotel, but at the HOLIDAY inn next door. I also noticed just adjacent to the reception desk was a small lounge bar. Lunch and dinner wasn’t served at this hotel. We were informed the Holiday Inn has an agreement to serve us, so we proceeded there after we checked in. It was there at The Ramp, we met Pipo, on of the bar's attendants. Great personality and service. My husband and I enjoyed a drink, spoke with other travels then proceeded back to our hotel. Our room 331 had two double beds. A very narrow room with insufficient room for luggage. The room provided a dryer, instant coffee maker, a safe and dispensers with each hand wash, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Be careful to not get a room near the elevator as the arrival bell is quite loud. Breakfast was incredible. Included in the 85 euros, there was something for everyone. Not a European breakfast, but American. On the walls were all these positive quotes. As a teacher, my brain focused on them more than the food. Annemarie (7:26) checked us out. Friendly and personable.

Lovely clean room, very spacious, comfortable bed with fabulous pillows. Loved the recliner with footstool. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Tea/coffee facilities I’m room, check in and out very speedy. Staff very helpful

My kids and I took the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Follow the directions on the hotel's website; it's the same shuttle location as other airport hotels. The room was clean, comfortable, modern, and very quiet. The breakfast was fantastic - so much better than those at Hampton Inns in the U.S. Walk to the shuttle at the Holiday Inn was short, but it involved uneven pavement - if that's a concern for you. Kids are free on the shuttle, but adults have to pay 4 euro. For more than one adult it's probably better value to take an Uber.

Close to airport. €4pp for shuttle ride to airport. Pickup at Holiday Inn Great breakfast. Hot food for lunch or dinner available next door at the Holiday Inn. A small bar at the Hilton. Safe, dryer, instant coffee machine in room.

Had layover thanks to Lufthansa. Found the hotel at Pretty good location, like 5 min 10EUR taxi drive from and to the terminals. New and clean. Shuttle bus is not going from the hotel , but from nearby Holiday Inn. You have to take a walk with your luggage. Otherwise - very good value for the money.

I needed a hotel at FRA airport for one night before returning home to the U.S. I reviewed all the options nearby. The two hotels actually in the airport are much more expensive, about $60-80 more than the nearby ones, so I decided to go nearby. Then, there is a choice of about 6 or 7 hotels there. I chose the Hampton and was glad that i did. The hotel is very new and modern. Rooms are large (especially for Europe) and updated. Wifi worked well and the included breakfast was excellent with lots of choices among hot and cold food. As for location, this hotel is technically the closest of all the nearby ones in this cluster, just by a little. There is a free shuttle from the airport, but going from the hotel to the airport is 4 Euros. I decided to walk it and can report that it is very walkable, taking a little less than 15 minutes to get to Terminal 2 which it is closest to. (That's the terminal where flights on Delta depart.) If you are able-bodied and not taking too much luggage, I think the walk is not bad. It is quite clear where to go to get near the airport, then it can get a little tricky. I recommend walking up the rampway where cars dropping people off are going up. There is a big sidewalk to its right. At the top, then just loop around your left to go into the main doors. I could see how it would be trickier walking from the airport to the hotel, especially if one is not familiar with the geography there. The trickiest part is where to go right away once emerging from the airport. Anyhow, I highly recommend this hotel amongst the set of nearby but just offsite hotels to FRA.

I found the Hampton to be a very good hotel on my last business to Frankfurt. There was a power outlet on each side of the bed, as well as a reading light. The desk had two power outlets and two USB charging ports. The mattress on the bed was extra firm, but not uncomfortable. I find hotels in Europe usually have firm beds in general. There were soft and firm pillows, though; always nice to have the choice. The duvet was nice and soft. The hair dryer's power was mediocre; which is typical for hotels. This hotel is very close to the airport, but I did not find the airplane traffic to be a problem. My flight arrived very early in the morning, but the hotel managed to get me checked in after a short wait. The breakfast was quite good, with plenty of options. The nightly price is quite good, but the daily parking charge is quite high considering the location is no where near the city centre. The hotel is in a brand new area that is still being built up, and it seems to me there is plenty of space for parking.

My plane departed from Frankfurt around 9 am, and since I had to travel with public transportation close to 4 hours to arrive at the airport in time I felt it was necessary to spend the night prior to departure in close proximity to the airport. I researched locations of hotels where I had previously stayed and decided to look for a comfortable hotel within a short distance to the airport. I was very satisfied with my choice.

Near airport. That’s the plus. Zero amenities. No refrigerator in room. No ice on floors. No restaurant for dinner. Parking $20 a night. Tv no subtitles that we can ding so German only. No restaurants in area. Would not stay here again.

This was a good option for a quick overnight stay before our flight back to the states. There’s a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel but you pay 4 euros for the same shuttle going back to the airport. It was quick and relatively easy once we found the shuttle pickup place. Our room was clean, on the small side but with comfortable beds. The included breakfast was ample with many hot and cold selections. And the breakfast area was large enough for lots of people. Our only hiccup was the air conditioning in our room. It didn’t work right so we didn’t get much sleep. Management said they’d look into it and correct it. There’s no restaurant in the hotel so no other food is available once breakfast is over. Other than the air conditioning glitch, the hotel worked for our needs.
