A beautiful, charming, very clean and conveniently located Hotel. The staff was very kind, nice and helpful and offered lots of help. We enjoyed the wonderful spa/Sauna area and the hotels lounge area and restaurant. Would come back there in a heart bit.

Pros: Room has air conditioning. Location is good for sightseeing Plenty of parking Cons: Shower is in the middle of the room facing the door. No one can enter or leave the room while someone is in the shower (unless that person is an exhibitionist). It’s just kind of an old hotel that’s in OK shape. Area is a bit sketchy. On the plus side, the staff showed us a map and told us which area was safe.

Great location, excellent staff service, newly remodeled

Excellent breakfast. A bit far from the sites. Interior of the hotel is much better than outside. Fitness machines needed instructions. 2 people tried, and failed, to get the treadmills working.

The biggest thing to get used to is the shower and once you take your first one it was a non-issue. Florian was great when I checked in. Great service, great location and great deal of a hotel,

We stayed here for a couple of days and were pleased with the experience. The hotel provided enough towels, soaps, and other conveniences. .They provide a fridge in the room for your groceries. The serve one of the most sumptuous buffet breakfasts in the morning which could last you well into the afternoon. The hotel sauna was very good which also included a steam room and a lounge area. The climate control was a bit difficult to figure and the room did not get very warm, but it was comfortable enough.. Also, as other people mentioned, the shower is located in the room, but there is a curtain you can draw in front it to block the view from the beds. There is a street car stop in front of the hotel and the nearest S-bahn is about a 5 to10 minute walk. You walk to nearby attractions in the city or walk across one of the bridges to the Sachsenhausen area. Also there are usually taxis waiting in front of the hotel. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and helpful in answering are questions. They also were available to exchange dollars for euros, should you have the need. The hotel was reasonably priced and I would recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

We have never been to Germany so wasn't sure what to expect. Our check in was quick & smooth & the staff was very friendly. Our room was somewhat small, but I've been in worse. The only odd thing is you see the clear glass shower as soon as you open the door. The rooms are very quiet. Our bed was very comfortable, but they do use feather pillows that are quite flat. We just got a couple extra. Our room was very warm & nothing we did to the AC controls helped. We ended up leaving the window slightly open & that helped a lot. There was a nice tray of fruit waiting when we arrived. The breakfast selection was quite large, more European than what we're used to, but when in Rome.... We had dinner in their restaurant a couple nights because there is nothing else less than a 10-15 min walk. On the first day, we were just to exhausted to go further. The food was good, but rather on the expensive side. There is free wifi & it worked well. If we came back to the area, we would definitely stay again.

We booked this hotel thinking it was close to a sports complex we would be attending. It was not. But the hotel was very clean, noise free. There were 2 ladies working the desk in the evening. One was very sweet and extremely helpful giving us directions around the city. The other lady was very indifferent. We stayed 3 nights and would recommend this hotel.
