Hotel was a comfortable stay. Was a little deceiving as on the map it looks like it is close the train station. It’s at least a 20 minute walk from train station.. the breakfast is absolutely awesome. Good selection an good food w delicious coffee. The even let us brew a fresh coffee way before breakfast opened on the one morning cause we had a. Train to catch.
Very nice and friendly staff. Clean but very small rooms. Complimentary breakfast was very good - cereal, yogurt, meats, cheeses, breads, fruit. The location wasn't the best. It was a 15 minute was to the closest restaurant and a 20 minute walk to the train station through not the greatest neighborhood.
I had a flight to catch the next afternoon, and the staff was accommodating for me to have a late checkout, perhaps as an IHG member, but for whatever reason, I was grateful to not have to leave too early and kill time at an airport. The location is convenient to the airport if driving--less than 15 minutes drive. The hotel had parking in a private lot out back. The price for a Holiday Inn was great, especially being close to the airport. I had also, the day before, just been driving along the Rhein, and the hotel was not very far from the Rhein river, so a person in a car could easily jaunt out for a day trip along the Rhein and see the castles and be well situated for the airport, too, without being in too much traffic.
This was our first hotel experience during our 3 weeks France/Germany/Austria road trip. I must say it set a pretty decent standard for the lowest priced hotel we stayed. The room came with a sofa bed which my daughter enjoyed sleeping in. The room is small but negligible fact for we stayed out most of the time. Breakfast came with the room and we found very satisfying. Bus downtown is just across the street (3 mins walk) and the receptionist will provide you with a schedule. We walked 10 minutes to Hertz to pick up our rented car. So convenient. However, there’s nothing happening around the vicinity of the hotel. The lobby has a small lounge area where it gets slightly busy in the evenings. Great I must say for my family’s basic criterias were all given the head nod - clean room and bathroom, prompt communication with the hotel manager, satisfying breakfast (fun ambience), receptionist manners. I lioke!
Had a lovely 3 day stay at this hotel as a couple, hotel was easy to find and 10 no idea from everywhere central, hotel on a city bus route or 10 minutes In a taxi but we Had a hire car which we parked in hotels own car park to rear. Staff were very helpful and recommended restaurants for us to visit, hotel served breakfast but no dinners so you have to eat out in sachenhausen for German bars and food. Mudassar was an excellent hands on manager who was available every time to oversee his team. Will return to this great little hotel.
Staff in this hotel were so efficient and friendly and could not do enough to help. Hotel was easy to find from the airport with private rear car park for hire car. Hotel was small clean bright and I will Definately use again for my business trips It was managed by Mostafa who went out his way to extend my stay and change Bookings, highly recommended lovely little hotel. One down fall is. No dinner except Pizza offered.
Hotel is located close to the Messe area, so do not expect a sexy environment, it is what it is. Hotel itself is very good, staff very friendly and provide a good service. WARNING: if you intend to use the underground garage, please be aware that your car should not be a low riding car... I got stuck with my car at the beginning of the slope and damage the chassis. No I do not drive a tuned car, but it is a sport model (Jaguar). The slope transition is too abrupt for cars who are low. You are warned. There is a second parking outside on the back of the hotel who is open sky, I was feeling a bit less secure but nothing has happen (car was loaded).
Positive: Friendly staff, clean room, clean bathroom apart from floor in front of the toilet seat that was not cleaned properly. Free internet. Negative: No minibar in the room. Breakfast room can be crowded, especially during trade fairs. My rating: a good three stars.
We came for an expo at the Messe and found the hotel very convenient. They have a shuttle to the expo. It is 10 minutes walk to many restaurant on the river. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is good. Will come back.
The hotel is located about 5 mins away (by bus) from the main Frankfurt train station. The bus stop is just across the road from the hotel, and so it is very convenient. However there is nothing around the hotel area - no restaurants or shops. The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby that serves breakfast (only). No other meals. Breakfast is a limited spread. For vegetarians, you get bread, cereals and some fruits. Dinner becomes tricky especially since there is nothing around the hotel, but one can call for food delivery from restaurants. (Surprisingly the pizza delivery guy came right up to my room without any checks/security by the hotel people. Coming from Asia, that was a bit of a surprise!) My room was basic but sufficient. Decent sized work desk, a couch and a double bed. No fridge or mini bar. Wardrobe was meant to be a few open shelves with 4 hangers. In addition, there are 3 spots for hanging your coats etc. The bathroom was small but worked well. The bathroom cubicle was well designed and prevented water from leaking out even when the water pressure was high. The hotel is convenient for Messe Frankfurt. It’s a 10 minute walk to the S Bahn station and then only one stop on the train. Overall, it’s a convenient hotel if you are in Frankfurt for Messe (during which time, the rates go up 2-3 times), but otherwise you can probably find a better hotel.
