kept getting bitten by bugs in bed. its located by train tracks - very loud

At check inn the staff was friendly. We asked for a non smoking room and the one we gat smell like cigarette smoke. Called the front desk and they sent a person with a bottle of fabreze I told him we needed another room he say to walk to the front desk. I went there and the attendant said they didn't have another room. I insisted and after a few minutes she gave another room and it was also a smoking room. Apparently they sprayed it but still smelled. We decided to keep it because we were now very tired. Woke up with a terrible head ache from the smell.

Just needed a bed for the night on way home from Disney . This was great for that , beds were comfy room clean, and fit the bill for our family

The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night. The only problem was there were some missing bulbs in the lamps and an outlet in the kitchen did not work properly. The train is close by, so if you are a light sleeper you may want to rethink your stay. Great value. I would stay there again.

We rent a lot of rooms each week all over the state. This is our first choice by far. We drive extra each day just to stay here.

I would've loved if they had bigger TV's...I was in da room much of the time but we're still mad dat too hood...they had ppl up all night just running around and kids everywhere

Hope da next time my room get put up front don't like to b in da back BC of da location.. I really like da staff and wish she could b promoted BC I stayed there b4 and she always help me..luv Florence a lot

Kool and it wit great nice people rooms smell good and clean

the hotel was a decent value for the money. It's right off the interstate and plenty of places to eat nearby. Not the cleanest place but not too rundown

I was taken in by the reasonable price. Go somewhere else and pay another 10 to 20 bucks. My room reeked of cigarettes, there is no elevator to the 2nd floor so I had to schlepp my stuff up the stairs. No breakfast. I tried to figure out how to get online with my computer but I was too tired after 20 minutes. ANALOG TV! Really? Sandpaper toilet paper, this is on the cheap. The best thing about this place is the staff. Very pleasant and as helpful as they can be, considering they don't have much to work with here. I hope they get a job somewhere nice.

Yes it did. Will return in the future. Great job yall, keep up the good work.

Smoke alarm was on the sink, unattached from wall, expired in 2003. Dented beds, people loitering outside, someone fighting outside at 2am. Inside was clean overall but very worn. Broken glass outside car in an but not from mine. Slept with chair in front of door. Not impressed.

Gas stove and coffee maker was not working, we felt bed bugs, tv was not clear.

I was just passing through Florence and needed a place to crash for the night. I saw the cheap rate but didn't think it'd be that bad looking at the pictures. Amenities were okay, but the room wasn't in the best of shape. It was especially dank. Neighbors slamming doors and hollering in the parking lot wasn't especially comforting either. Location was pretty convenient being right beside the interstate, and I was definitely happy to jump on it and get out of town. My recommendation: spend $70 more and stay at a Holiday Inn.

The visit was great. the kitchen was a life saver. we stayed here because our house was being worked on. The fact that there was a stove to cook on was the best part for me, because we saved a lot of money by not having to eat out every not. the nightly rate for how many nights we stayed were also great.

My experience at Suburban was good. No complaints. Service was good. Price great. I found everything as advertised. I would stay here again. It is 2 Star. Therefore, does not have all the amenities. But, clean and affordable. Staff were courteous and professional. For extended stay, this is good.

Unlike others who can do "the big drive" from Florida to the Northeast without stopping, I need to break it up into two days. Florence, SC, happens to be right in the middle. There are many other places to choose from in this EXACT same location - some better, some worse - I've tried them all. This place is acceptable for an overnight stay. Because it is an "extended stay hotel" there are kitchens in the rooms, but I'm never there long enough to use them. Egg McMuffin and a coffee from next door and then back on the road!

good stay overnight.Room was nice clean.Pleasant experience.

Average hotel with average amenities- old but not dirty inside- okay staff

The staff was accommodating when I told them that the sheets may have been washed but whatever was in the sheets didn't come out. They did replace them. The property in itself looked like the owners or management is not putting money back into the property. The grounds were dirty and raunchy and groups of people always lurked around the grounds which made me very uncomfortable. The pictures of this property were very misleading. The nicest thing about this property was the palmetto trees and shrubs other than that, I would never stay at this property again. The walls had holes in them and the curtains were dingy looking. I will say everything appeared to be clean. Though, I still went in and wiped everything down before touching it with sanitizing wipes.
