The rooms need a total upgrade. The furniture felt sticky and the carpet felt dirty when walking on it. The shower pressure, or shower head, were not good. The staff were very good and friendly, especially the front desk clerk and the lovely woman setting up the breakfast, which, btw, was very good with several options. The whole place is showing its age unfortunately

We experienced a strong foul odor upon opening the room door similar to a moldy carpet or a wet dog. I called the front desk right away and asked the overnight attendant for a different room. She offered to look for one and call me back. While waiting for her call, I went to use the restroom. When I turned on the light in the bathroom a roach scurried under a baseboard. At that point I knew we could not stay in any room at that hotel. The toilet and trash can were dirty. I was so turned off, I didn’t even use the bathroom. I called my husband who had gone to park our car and told him about what I saw. Instead of accepting keys to the other room we informed the attendant why we could not stay there at all. She did not have the authority to issue a refund so she provided us with the business card of the guest service director who we could follow up with for a refund. I’ve stayed at Hampton Inn & Suites numerous times and this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this. Such a treat after 10 hours on the road!

I liked the property until someone went into my room when I was out Saturday and helped themself to my white Samsung plug in mobile telephone charger from the desk. The facility was neat, clean. The bed was comfortable. But the theft of my property really disappointed me. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn.

Unsafe and Unsanitary Stay at Hampton Inn Florence We reserved two rooms, and unfortunately, both had serious issues that compromised both cleanliness and safety. In one room, the bathroom was moldy and dirty, and the baseboards were caked in grime. Even worse, the mattress and padding were heavily stained with large, unidentifiable marks and appeared extremely worn and unhygienic. The second room bathroom faucet was leaking, which led to water pooling on the floor. During the night, a member of our party slipped and fell while trying to use the restroom. Thankfully, the injury was not severe. While the manager on duty initially apologized and attributed the poor conditions to “new staff,” she later denied any knowledge of these issues. We’ve always trusted Hilton properties to offer clean, safe, and professionally managed accommodations, but this experience was not only below standards- it was disturbing and unsafe.

Disappointing Experience at Hampton Inn – Florence, SC (3000 W Radio Dr) My recent stay at the Hampton Inn Florence Center was extremely disappointing and far from the quality I’ve come to expect from the Hilton brand. My family and I reserved two rooms and unfortunately experienced multiple serious issues related to cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. Upon arrival, it was clear that the rooms had not been properly cleaned. One of the mattresses had large, dark stains that appeared to be either red or brown—completely unacceptable from a health standpoint. The room also had visible mold, chewing tobacco left behind, and thick dust in the bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. In the second room, the bathroom sink leaked heavily onto the floor, the shower had visible dirt buildup, and the floors had not been cleaned properly. To make matters worse, we were wrongly charged a pet fee for our service animal, despite informing the front desk staff (Stacey) at check-in that both my husband and I are disabled veterans traveling with a trained service animal. We’ve always disclosed this information and are well aware of our rights under federal law. This charge felt not only unjust but discriminatory. The situation escalated when we extended our stay over the phone with an employee named Shaun, who never inquired about the service animal. Later that day, during a migraine episode I was experiencing, our daughter took the animal out for a walk. Shaun questioned her inappr
