Embassy Suites by Hilton El Paso3.0 out of 5.0

Disappointed in comparison to other Embassy Suites, friendly staff, clean rooms but very dated and well worn. Great breakfast but presentation lacking. Noisey room air conditioning and no where to hang any towels or clothing.
Hotel got a new splash of paint and furniture. Should have updated staff and attitudes. Breakfast only serves one customer at a time. Hence, a long line every morning. Takes two hours for staff to clean breakfast room after they stop serving. Lobby and courtyard CANNOT be used by hotel guests from 11pm to 6 am. Security guard will remove you. Shame they do not keep the parking lot clear of beer bottles and beggers.
I stay here a lot now that I know they have an awesome staff and are eager to please and make sure that you have an excellent stay at this facility. I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is. It’s like my second home now that I do business here in El Paso.
Well kept property, clean rooms, friendly staff. Common area was very nice. Happy hour and free breakfast. Nice selection of breakfast choices. If you are a Hilton Honors member, internet is free. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
It was the best experience I ever had at any hotel. Will visit and stay again. The staff on every level was nothing but professional and polite. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!! I have no others words to say. I don't know what else to say other than I would stay at the accommodations and recommend it to my family and friends as a must stay.
After planning for a year and negotiating with the hotel on the details we found that suddenly all rules regarding events had been changed and it did not matter what was discussed and in the signed contract on the days of our events. You cannot have speakers near the dance floor if it is in the middle of the room. So it must be at the back of the room or the speakers must be. OR you cannot use the room’s doors because they are worried about noise from the event rooms. Additionally it seems that the security at the hotel is more concerned with following guests around the hotel and watching them then on patrolling the area. Our guests felt like they were being treated as criminals. Additionally the beautiful lobby that they have cannot be used from the hours of 11 pm until 7 am because they have a “quiet time” rule. Apparently that doesn’t mean you need to be quiet to sit there and talk but the LOBBY is CLOSED every night. We have never heard of such a thing in any hotel. And the hotel reps were more interested in proving that they were in the right then in compromising and working with us. Sadly after using this hotel since 2009 for our events, we will not be returning. The new management has made it impossible for our guests to enjoy their stay.
It was a great stay as usual. Breakfast with the omelets and fruit, the dining, the reception snacks and drinks were timely and the fitness room was great. Room was clean and the suite was awesome. Thanks for a great experience.
I stayed two nights for work related travel. The staff is very kind and attentive. The hotel looks to have gone through a renovation and has a very nice atrium area where they have an evening reception during the week nights and daily breakfast. I was unable to try either, so I will not review those areas. I had a room with two queen beds. The front portion of the room is a sitting area with a sofa and large tv. There also is a mini fridge a small countertop with sink. Once I entered the bedroom area I could feel a dramatic change in temperature. The sleeping area was much warmer. I originally closed the air vent in the sitting area and the bedroom door. Even with the temp set at 65, it still felt like the low 70's. The shower and toilet are separate from the bathroom sink. That was fine for me, but it might be an issue if others are in the room sleeping and you get up in the middle of the night. You most likely will wake someone. I was texted by the front desk about my stay. I had told them that the room was warm. Maintenance came up shortly and turned the AC down to 60. That didn't cool things down at all. The bed was very comfortable and the TV is huge. I was texted the next day by Jessica. She wanted to know about my stay. I told her that everything, but the AC was good. She offered to move me, however I was only going to be in the room a few hours, since I was getting up early for my flight back home. She then offered a free dinner at the hotel. I felt that was really nice, but declined since I was going out with co-workers. If I stayed longer I would've switched rooms. If I return to El Paso I would stay again. My room was 716. It was quite and away from the major roadway.
This is a great hotel, convenient to El Paso International Airport. Friendly helpful staff; all the Embassy Brand Amenities to include cook to order breakfast, managers reception with snacks. Highly Recommend.
This hotel has MOLD in the bathroom and air vents. The GM stated she had a water leak and the plumber came out. The AC doesn't work. The first day I was moved twice. Ridiculous! Unprofessional! Not safe.
