Comfortable room with microwave and refrigerator. Centrally located to the airport, gas station and store. Love the morning breakfast buffet!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very enjoyable experience.

Don't rely on their "wake-up" calls! Lucky for my internal alarm or I would have missed my flight.

Free shuttle pickup arrive 4 minutes after call. Hotel lobby had very nice decor. Front desk service friendly and helpful directing me to nearby cafe store only steps from entrance because I arrived after midnight. The room itself was clean, cozy with an outdated bathroom. Free breakfast had eggs, hash browns, meats, as well as continental offerings of danish, etc. Overall good overnight experience.

On the morning of Nov.15, 2016, I arrived B4 9:30 for hot breakfast & was told it ended 9 a m.At check in I was told when I asked about the full breakfast time, it was until 10 a m by the TWO persons at the desk that night. I voiced a complaint to the female @ front desk, & the man there walked back with me showing the sign with the time stated & said, "It is what it is, the one who checked you in is new; but the waffles are still available."He walked away to the kitchen stating he would review what was said on the tape that's recorded at check in & never came back. I don't eat waffles so I ate cold pastry. My request for a concession be made since my deluxe room included full breakfast was denied. For my full day ahead,I would require a more satisfying breakfast. At check out the person said,"you're all set" & she walked away. This may be my last visit to this hotel, since some of your staff don't seem to recognize the importance of customer satisfaction and appreciation.

Stayed here many times. Recently refurbished and quite clean and comfortable. Great value for the price.

Great location.the morning front desk employees were very friendly and polite.

Close, clean, great service, timely shuttle service, in-house restaurant.

Every time i go to Detroit, I stay at this hotel. The hotel staff is alway pleasant and courteous.

Very convenient to the airport. Convenient shuttles.

We stayed 3 nights and experience was great. Use of computer to find car rentals, staff asking if we needed anything, breakfast staff asking if everything was OK, and taking out plates for us.

The hotel looks a little worn out on the outside - but the inside is very nice and pretty. The room was comfortable and clean - overall a great deal for the price.

Good place to stay, clean rooms, nice area, affordable

Liked being able to leave our car at the hotel and take the shuttle to the Detroit Airport (return shuttle as well).

The place was a construction mess, and filled with partying college students in town for a tournament. I left very clear instructions that my husband was joining me very late, that I would be sleeping, and that he would pick up his own key. They called me anyway--after 1:00am, in the room phone at maximum volume, which left me awake most of the rest of the night, especially with the noise from other rooms and the hallway. The person who checked me in was trying to do multiple things at once, oblivious to the fact that she was giving no one her complete attention. Still, she assured me she would take care of noting my husband's late arrival so I wouldn't be woken up.

Before evaluating I need to know is 1 excellent, or is 5 excellent??? Good fast pick up from airport. and friendly staff. Bad Looks like a lot of work needs to be done. Carpets in hallway need replacement. Vending machines not properly operating

The good: Rooms were actually clean and comfortable. Flat screen tv, microwave, fridge, freezer and free wifi. Bathroom was clean. Shower had very good water pressure. Bar open til midnight and free breakfast (I didn't have time to eat so I can't rate the food quality or selection). Also a free shuttle to/from the airport, but you have to call the hotel and request it. Right down the street from the airport and about halfway between Ann Arbor and downtown Detroit. There is also a nice gas station with a pretty large store that shares the same front parking lot. The bad: The hotel looks very old. The carpets look like they've never been cleaned or updated. No elevators which isn't a huge deal b/c it's only 2 stories. Lots of rooms for 2 stories which means you'll be doing a lot of walking if you need to go back and forth to the front desk for anything. The A/C was a little tricky to get going but it blew cold when it got going.

Used convenient hotel for its location to airports. Would not use again, because we had to carry all our luggage upstairs due to no elevator. Rooms were nice , clean . Only recommend if only have a small bag to carry.

Room was older, but clean. A continental breakfast was included. If you wanted the hot breakfast you had to pay additional $. The room was fairly quiet after planes stopped going overhead around midnight.
