Went to shuttle pick up. There was not an QI shuttle, had to use another but I didn’t know that. Waited…called. She told me You have to call for it. (Ummmm….I am calling…). It will be there soon. 30 minutes later. Called. Are you waiting for it? Yes. It’s cold out here (snowing). It will be there. Saw a shuttle with the name, got in. It went to a parking lot. Apparently I only noted the first word which was the same. The driver got frustrated with me and yelled. I called again and discovered I got on the wrong shuttle. He yelled at me some more and said I was yelling at him. Then said he would drop me off but personally by that time I would have walked. Outside was 30 degrees and I hadn’t planned on getting stranded in Detroit and had no coat. Yelled at me the whole way there. The hotel smelled very unpleasant. There was no blanket, just a thin bedspread. The heater didn’t work very well. I had to get on a flight 4 hours later. I should have saved my money and stayed in the airport and been spared 2.5 hours of aggravation. So no breakfast because of early flight. I was glad to be home (which also took a long time on public transportation but at least it was warm).
