"Hotel is attractive on the inside. It’s well located within a 10 minute walk of an underground station and has a mall adjacent to it on each side of the street. When we first arrived and went to our room our door lock did not work. We assumed that the battery was dead in the lock itself as the key card had worked in the elevator to allow us access to the required floor. We went back to reception, and the woman who had checked us in went up with us to verify the problem. Instead of waiting for someone to come and replace the battery in the lock, she then offered us a different room. A bellman subsequently brought our luggage and new keys to our new room. One day, we mistakenly left our “do not disturb”light on when we went out. When we got back later in the afternoon, we took the light off and put on the “maid service requested” light, hoping that it wasn’t too late to have our room made up. When we came back from dinner, the room was indeed made up. The room was absolutely silent. We heard nothing from any of our neighbours. We had a great view of the Marina Bay Sands and the nighttime light show. "
