2nd day for late lunch on 32nd floor waited 40 minutes and still no food or initial drink. I just walked out at that point.

My room was spacious and very clean! The bed was quite comfortable and I appreciate the wooden floors. Sometimes if there is carpet or tile it feels greasy but these floors were very well-kept. I had a corner room so I had windows on both sides with an incredible view. The bathroom looked brand new. I was there for a 10 day quarantine. The staff could not have been more helpful and nicer! I wasn’t looking forward to 10 days in a hotel but actually the staff were so kind and accommodating. I am a western or so my only critique was the set meals. They were fine but very uniform with no variety and no choices. I would’ve liked to of had some fruit and possibly some yogurt but I know that I could’ve ordered that off of the room service menu. I was just hoping it would be part of the set meals. But honestly, I had a wonderful stay.

Everything was great and all the staff was very courteous and professional. Don't have anything to say except keep up the good job.

Pro: Attended a wedding wherein the reception was held at the hotel on the 31st floor. Cons: No exception to the rule to provide elevator service to about 150 guests during the 3:30 to 4:00 timeframe since the elevators as I said before on my first review were slow. This might not have valid concern but just very disappointed and venting out. My wife and I were principal sponsors and given each a gift from the newly wed couple but unfortunately forgot them under our table. There was no record of lost and found; oh well. Wish that more than 1 bottle of water is provided on a daily basis so that we don't have to keep calling and asking for it for coffee and hydration.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The moment I stepped out of my taxi at the curb until the time I checked out everyone was so pleasant. Daphanie (hope that’s the correct spelling) your duty manager was very engaging as was Chris whom I believe she may have been a front desk agent. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Next time I hope to avail of your outlets. I will definitely stay here and refer others to your hotel. By the way I’m also in the hospitality business and work for a hotel. I know genuine service when I see it and feel it. Thank you.

I have been staying at the City Garden Grand for my last 3 trips to Manila. The location is great. The hotel is clean and well kept. I can’t say enough praise about the staff from the GM down, everyone is outgoing, friendly and always asking how my stay is and if there’s anything they can do for me. The food is fantastic. The above is why I have chose the City Garden Grand as my hotel of choice.

I like their spacious room and breakfast buffet. Friendly and accommodating staff. I would suggest a lock on their bathroom door for privacy.

- The superior room I had booked did not turn out to be what I had expected. Tired from the flight and soured by the experience, I was about to move to another hotel nearby. But AJ and Ian intervened just in time, Emman helped out and they had me moved to another room more to my liking. - I am glad they did because my initial impression aside, this hotel turned out to be a great stay. - The staff is very prompt and the location is great. - The pool, even though half the size of the one at home, is on the 32nd floor in the middle of the city and the weather is such that (unlike in California) you actually want to go to the pool in the evening. - There is no hand rail in the pool/jacuzzi. That is a safety hazard.

I love this hotel. It is a shining beacon of hospitality and serves as a monument to the Philippines sense of service and hospitality. The issues I ever had with the hotel were met and fixed completely and quickly with great attitudes and will to serve. I've only ever stayed in two hotels in Manila, and this one is so good I'm not looking for others.

Friendly and helpful staff. Weight room could use more weights. Overall, very nice hotel

Loved the roof top pool. Staff was great especially Mina, Jethro and Nicole! Did not like the shower, e.g. water was everywhere because the shower head would rotate all of a sudden if you pull up the faucet valve all the way up. had to clean all that water spill on the bathroom floor.

Our hotel has been running full and been hosting multiple events almost on a daily basis, which explains the elevator traffic. Likewise, our standard set-up for NILAD glass-bottled drinking water is one per room. Should a guest need more bottled water, the said amenity is available upon request. Lastly, while we advise our guests to mind their belongings especially to crowded places, I am pleased to inform you that staff is trained to return left behind items to our lost and found. We highly encouraged you to kindly check with the other visitors who were near or seated on your table. Nevertheless, my apologies for any inconvenience and I look forward to your return.
