Swissotel The Stamford, Singapore

I stayed at Carlton and SO Sofitel before. I would stay at SO Sofitel again but it is a bit away from a MRT station. Swissotel is nicely located and it is within the reach of many attraction spots. The overall experience is above average, the only thing that I take a few points away is because the bathroom counter was not clean and I found a couple of hair when I checked in.

It's conveniently located, direct access to subway and a mall with many shopping and dining options. Comfortable room but little old, esp the bathroom. The bathtub was clogged. More importantly we have noticed small flies all around the room mostly in the bathroom since our arrival only to discover that they were coming from the drainage in the bathroom. They came and sprayed but it obviously required a more comprehensive pest control in the hotel not just in our room as the flies were back there the next day. Shame for a reputable hotel chain.

Staff are very accomodating and courteous. I arrived early And they are very considerate of my situation.I had so many requests and they made sure it was taken cared of. I had one of the best view of the city from my room.It is also accessible to everything..On my next visit to SG, I would definitely stay again in this hotel, highly recommended .

It's an excellent location. Close to the metro; walking distance to Gardens by the Bay. The concierge helped a lot with directions to places we wanted to visit and the pool was refreshing on the very hot, humid days. It's a large hotel and a little worn, but it is maintained well. Little irksome details like a key malfunctioning on the first day and not being allow to take one's food to the room from the executive level seemed a little unusual. There are hundreds of hotels in Singapore, and one stay was enough for us.

Hotel is good for business or holiday travel. The location is next to MRT so it's really easy to get around without using a cab. It's also a short walk to Boat Quay for outside dining. Top floor bars were closed this trip, but the views are great when they're open. Only negative is they now have locked off the balcony's for the higher floors.

Great hotel. Wonderful Staff. Only thing I didn't like was the charge for internet access. Didn't want to pay for less than an hour to check my email.

I stayed for 2 night at Swissotel was nice I can see Marina Bay sand Beautiful

This is good especially from a value for money perspective. Location ok, room ok, staff ok. If you are not shooting for luxury hotels, give a try.

used as precruise . nice room with view. no breakfast or internet were included so a bit expensive for inclusions but great location for MRT, sites, etc.

Staff were excellent - they went out of their way to get me an excellent room and a late check out considering that all I wanted to do was sleep and sleep and sleep. For the purpose of sleeping, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room amenities were excellent. The shower had excellent water pressure which was a change from many hotels I've stayed at recently. One a BIG MINUS note, they charged for internet access. $28 for one day is egregious and insulting. As a result, despite all the other great features of this hotel, I will NEVER stay here again. Obviously they're still in the stone ages and look at Internet as a luxury. So their target market must also be the knuckle-dragging types that don't appreciate connectivity at their finger tips. You've been warned.

Hotel was really nice and in a great location. Good value. Would highly recommend.

The location is very convenient and the room is very clean.

Was very good staff ver polite . And restaurant were Very good

Beautiful view!!! Staff are helpful:) excellent stay!!!

Excellent hotel with all the amenities you require. Make sure to get a harbour view!

One expects efficiency from the Swiss, and this hotel does not disappoint. The lobby was beautiful and prominently featured a large four-faced transparent clock...also quite Swiss. Service was impeccable, check-in streamlined, everyone friendly and helpful. There is a panoramic view of downtown Singapore from the higher floors (Swissotel appears to be the tallest hotel in town.) Rooms are spotless, furniture a tiny bit dated but that's a minor point. The two circular outdoor pools are nice for kids and sunbathing, though not for lap swimming (if that's your thing, which it is for me.) Location is convenient with direct access to the subway and a nice multi-story mall next door with all types of restaurant. We ate lunch at the food court every day. Also it is across the street from the Raffles Hotel. We booked two very spacious rooms for 2 adults and 3 young kids.

One of the best hotels to stay in Singapore. Very clean. Staff very helpful and kind.

I upgraded for harbour view and the view was really fantastic from that high floor room. The hotel is right on top of the city hall MRT station and super convenient to reach. The only minus is that there is no free internet in the room.

I was very impressed with the Swissotel. I read some other reviews that this hotel was in a little need of renovation. I didn't see any evidence of that. The bathtub was amazing! It had enough space for two people easily. The bathroom tiles and counter were top notch. The room was spacious, and perhaps one of the best parts of this hotel was the fact that it sits right above two malls! Citylink and Raffles City mall. The food in Raffles city mall is amazing! I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

I recomend an upgrade to a room overlooking the bay. The view is magnificent including the Marina Bay Sands 3 towers, the Art Science Museum and the Gardens By the Bay on one side; The Fullerton and Merlion Park on the other side; and the Financial District at the top. The staff was superb and very freindly and eager the help in any way.
