I was ok could have been better. The refrigerator didn't work the shower was brok, but the water was wonderful very hot that was a plus for me..
Terrible management was there 5 days and complained about Plugging toilet and never came. Was told by the maids that the owner would go in rooms when people were gone and plunder. One person in crew found him in his room.
The WORST HOTEL I ever Stay . Manager is so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL..
Bad business...My family and I traveled to Alabama during the Irma Hurricane to evacuate from Florida and all the rooms were booked we traveled 9 hours and then two more hours because Greenwood Inn said we could check in early and had two days reservation for me I signed up and got a email and when we arrived to The hotel The owner denied us at the front office said I'm lieing and I showed him the email with all the reservation information and he still denied My family and I so we had to sleep in our car because again we were evacuating from Florida
I saw two roaches and we had no table.. The sheets and comforter set had holes in it ..
Within driving distance to my job . The service manager was very friendly he made sure my stay was satisfying and I ask if I could change room at the last minute and he made the accommodation
I visited Demopolis for a job interview. It was, unexpectedly, pushed forward several days so that I (from day to day) had an extended stay. The staff and management were extremely kind and courteous and did everything they could to help make this experience with my new employer much, much easier. I felt safe and well-taken-care-of. The room was very clean, the location excellent, and the cleaning staff visited each room each morning like clockwork to offer new towels and services. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would certainly recommend the Greenwood Inn to anyone visiting Demopolis.
If you need somewhere to literally crash for the evening that has a cable tv, this place would be ok. If you are planning to stay longer I would find one of the other options in town. The breakfast was terrible/non-exsistant. If you want honey buns in a package or cereal then you would be good to go.
I was in town working and stayed here for a week. The staff was alwas offering help with anything you need. If you need a place for one or several people to stay this is the Hotel for you they had rooms avalible for my crew of 40.
This hotel is not very modern and left much to be desired for comfort. The lamp in my room was broken and although there was a coffee pot, no cups or fixings for coffee. My sink was stopped up and the window curtain was not securely attached to the rod at one end. I stayed there after a game and did sleep pretty well but was disturbed by people leaving early in the morning. It was definitely overpriced for what you got. Breakfast was supposed to be included but I ended up eating elsewhere since food/drink was not replenished.
I called on my way from Ohio just to confirm by booking. Yes they had me. Great. I arrived around 830pm. I was given my key right away. The staff was kind and courtesy. Ver inexpensive room. I stayed from Fri til Sun. It was wonderful. Thanks. Free breakfast Sat morning saved me from having to drive any where. Fridge in room came in very useful. The only complaint is I had the high cool on the whole time and i didn't get cold enough for me in the room. I wasn't hot I just like it more like an ice berg in the room. Thankyou for a pleasent stay. Checkng out was just as easy as checkin in
THE MOTEL ROOM WAS CLEAN, THE BED VERY COMFORTABLE, AND THE STAFF WAS WONDERFUL, YOU COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER SERVICE. WE WERE THERE FOR A MOTORCYCLE RALLY, AND WAS NOT EXPECTING VERY MUCH FOR THE PRICE WE PAID, WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. I PLAN ON STAYING THERE THIS FALL WHEN THE NEXT BIKE RALLY WILL BE HELD.
The good: free continental breakfast that includes a waffle maker, cereal, sausage biscuits, muffins, oj, milk and coffee. Nice pool. Clean rooms with microwave & fridge. The bad: Price a bit high for quality of room and although they allow pets(the reason we chose this inn)The price they charge for the pets is double what we've paid at much nicer places. The ugly: The shower head and tub faucet were falling out of the wall.Lots of water damage around tub. The electric sockets were pulling out of the wall. No hairdryer. No phone unless you pay a $10 fee at the front desk, which meant when we had a problem with the room we had to go to the front desk and couldn't just call the front desk.
good location
NEEDS RENEVATION . CARPETS DIRTY. NOT VERY CLEAN. WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED FOR THE MONEY. THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE.
