Parking relative to room was excellent. Rooms clean . Excellent staff, very helpful and pleasant.“Bed was comfortable, hotel was clean and in a great location.Very close to interstate. The hotel has free wifi
This place is terrible. Very disgusted. Tried to address the problems with management and was blew off. I kind of seen she didn't really understand what I was trying to say, although I tried speaking as slowly as possible, so it would have been wise to direct me to someone who can speak English, but instead, she brushed me off saying she was coming back and never returned. Toilet over flowed, carpet was saturated, probably because that isn't the first time the toilet has over flowed, towels were dirty. Just horrible. Don't do it. That's all I can say.
The facility needed some repairs and updates. The bathrooms were dated, tile/grout not very clean, fixtures dated and flimsy, tub had grout/sealant peeling, walls had paint peeling. Carpet worn and stained and had bumps under it. I am not usually so critical but for the price you expect a lot nicer facility.
Great overall experience. Especially the manager of the hotel. Her name was Yolanda and she was very friendly and had the beautiful attitude. She made sure all 7 of us had exactly what we wanted. She took care of all the guest the same way. Stellar service by an exceptional person.
Because this place is filthy. Terrible breakfast, very nasty. Only reason we stayed here was because it was storming and we needed to stop. The walls were peeling, and there was dirt in one of the beds. We didn't even take a bath because the tub and shower was so moldy and dirty. Awful, but we made it through the night. The only plus was that there is a little fridge and cold AC. It's just a place to lay your head, not if you plan to bathe or stay more than one night. Pics will show you the walls and the horrible bathroom condition. Look in the corner of the bath 😖
Nice For The Price! Visited my friend in Livingston, AL. I was delighted to find a pet friendly motel only 9 miles away, and my dachshund, Sadie, enjoyed her stay also. Both the room & the area for pets were clean, the staff was friendly, and all appliances were in good working order. I will stay again when I visit my friend.
Can not say enough good things about this hotel, the gentleman who runs it and his desire to make you feel like a family member. Kindly allow me to expand; Moving from West Virginia, my wife, our five dogs and I were about halfway to our new home in Texas. Our six year old bulldog started to experience anxiety and ultimately distress as my new truck started throwing warning lights about 50 miles from Birmingham, Alabama. My wife was besides herself after spending six hours at a Birmingham auto shop, outside in the 112 degree heat, so there we were cautiously opting not to run our air conditioner for fear of breakdown, road isolation and death of a loved family member (our bulldog, Brutus.) Not only did anyone owning a hotel (one place wanted $1k a night- that's generally my maximum travel money over 500 miles away) campground,ec not care but we were lost, concerned and tired. It was then I was referred to this hotel by a privately owned general store in the deep woods of Alabama. Upon arrival, and quite concerned, tired, confused and frazzled by this life threatening situation... I was about ready to dole out every dime I had to save my beloved English bulldog. The gentleman reacted like a super hero as opposed to a business owner. He sensed our situation and immediately shifted gears, suggested I bring the dog into the locked, air conditioned office, offered ice, water and to immediately help move Brutus to a cold room with the air blasting. This gentleman, is probably one of the nicest and beautiful human beings we have ever met. He asked for $30 bucks more, assisted all of us with our canine and housing crisis ( surprisingly, not in that order) and put us all at ease. We felt as though we were amongst family (embraced and cared for really.) This hotel evidently was acquired recently from a cut rate national chain that I would no longer even consider. The man loves people and pets- so anyone this kind and loving, will forever live in our family's heart and thoughts, as we are all most grateful! Rooms were clean, inviting and had amneties not commonly found in a 5 star hotel/ motel, ec.I think we have a friend for life! This gentleman gives 110% to his guests and deserves to be recognized as exceptional!
