We had planned to stay somewhere in the Tuscaloosa area for the night but found ourselves in a pouring rain late at night and we had been in the car for nearly 900 miles....we had to get off the road. This was the place. It seemed a little creepy thru the pouring rain and darkness with it's lime green doors seeming to glow in the darkness. Check in was quick and effortless. I read the "rules" posted on the glass at the front window. "No refund after 15 minutes" - that worried me a bit. Why would anyone need a refund before 15 minutes?? With all of this said, the room was nice. There were clearly updates to the room, some things still a bit outdated. It was clean, it was warm, it was dry - the very things we needed. But my husband was so so sad when we realized there was no coffee maker in the room. He really needs that coffee first thing. I think there was some sort of "breakfast" offered but we leave super early, around 5am, and the breakfast was not available then. Not sure I would choose to stay here again, but it was a good place to get off the road for that night. I guess every place looks a little creepy on a cold, dark, stormy night when you're in the middle of somewhere unfamiliar.

We had a great second stay at Travel Inn. The electric lime green walls and plush 80's carpet really made me feel at home. The sweet smell of smoke reminded me of my fathers old pickup. Where they really went above and beyond though, was the complimentary ice cold Coors where the mountains were blue as well as the peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies that were in the fridge upon arrival. The complimentary breakfast was the icing on the cake. The hearty pale gray sausage was complimented by dollops of gravy. I would have gave 5 stars if not for the strange "airplane like" sound that the TV put out when turned on. All in all, would definitely reccomend!

Stayed here twice on a recent trip to the east coast. Both times our room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the towels and face cloths were soft and fluffy. Breakfast was better than most motels we've stayed at which included waffles, eggs, real biscuits with good sausage graveyard and some fresh fruit and pastries. I recommend this place if you need accommodations traveling I-20 in Alabama. Very reasonable with the rates as well. Rates are higher on football weekends as this place is only about 30 miles from Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama.

We had planned to stay at the Super 8 off of the Interstate in Tuscaloosa. We'd stayed there on the way out and were impressed. However, without a reservation, we found it all booked up so just carried on down the road toward Mississippi It was late, we were tired, and hotels along that stretch are few and far between. We stumbled on this little gem when we were about at the end of our rope. For being in a pinch, it did the job. It was no luxury accommodation, but it was dry, the AC worked and we felt safe. The breakfast was pitiful; a cold honey bun and coffee. But, there's a cool little local diner just across the highway that we walked to for a good, home-cooked breakfast. The price - considering our situation - was decent. I won't praise, but I can't complain too much, either.

I stayed there while traveling on I-59 , the welcome was great and the rooms were great at a such good prices , the room had a flat screen brand new 39" led tv with high resolution channels and the room had a good air conditioner. The whole motel had free Wi-Fi and we can use it without any login and i can also use it while enjoying the outside nature and having walk in motel area. The beds were great and had a nice clean blankets

We stayed here last night because we were going to drive straight through to Atlanta but we got tired. The people were so nice, the cost was cheap, and they accepted pets. That's where the positives end though. The bathtub was disgusting and the Toliet didn't flush have the time. There were fleas in one of the beds and the TV didn't work at all. They have us two remotes neither of which worked. The room stunk of a musk which is to be expected but the one bed we could sleep on had cigarette burns all over the pillows and sheets. For one night, we survived but looking back we should've stopped at the Marriott earlier.

We stayed at this place because there were no other vacancies in the comfort inn next door. This place is terrible, just avoid it at all costs. The bathrooms were disgusting and the towels weren't even clean. The shower curtain had a weird stain which was probably blood. The flush stopped working the first morning we were there. The rooms were so filthy that we didn't even sleep in the bed. I didn't even want to know how the sheets so my sister and I just slept on top of the comforter. Disgusting place. It's better to drive the extra 20 miles or stop beforehand at a nicer hotel

A very inexpensive hotel with a big, clean room. Smelled clean. Had a fridge. Right beside two gas stations and close to highway but quiet room. Definitely reccomend. We stayed here because we were attending a Football game in Tuscaloosa & was only 20 minutes away. Geaux Tigers! :-)

We stopped here to avoid a massive storm. In the immediate vicinity there were 2 gas stations, 1 with subway, a Comfort Inn and a diner called Southfork. The welcome was friendly and efficient. The room was clean although there were no actual blankets on the bed - simply the sheets and the cover. So we slept with the heater on all night - woke up with sore throats. Breakfast is coffee and a packaged 'honey-bun' pastry thing that we didn't partake of. We went across the road to the 24-hour diner 'Southfork' for brekkie - lovely staff, gospel music on the radio, hearty meals (not heart-healthy if you're wondering!) and we left smiling.
