Upon arrival, put into smoking room despite request for non smoking. Smells in hallway were unbearable. Once in room, stains on both comforters, unwashed sheets, dirty walls, dirty stovetop, Phone out of operation, heater not working, no tv remote, no maid service the entire stay.... and BUGS found creeping around baseboards and bathtub. Killed a dozen. Many shady hotel guests loitering through parking lot and hallways. A domestic disturbance down the hall... and no staff available at front desk. Anyone giving this place 5 stars must be helping management to coverup the truth. This hotel needs to be condemned.

Came in for the Missouri-Alabama football game. We arrived 4 days before the game to be able to check out Tuscaloosa. This hotel is an extended stay type. Not fancy or with a lot of amenities. Rooms are basic but they do have a full fridge and microwave. Your needs will dictate how you feel about this hotel. For us it worked out perfect. We were not in our rooms very much. But having a nice place to crash and as well stock up for tailgating was perfect. Front desk help is there until about 10 pm. But not a problem for us. About 15 minutes from the stadium and about 10 minutes from an area with restaurants. Overall we are happy we chose Woodspring.

1 Star is being generous..this place made motel 6 look like the’s an extended stay facility that reeked of smoke, had thin blankets, the same towels for days on end, bugs in my bed (or something that made my legs itch like crazy), no coffee pot (a real deal breaker). The grounds were a mess of cans and beer bottles. The walls were so thin that the snorer in the next room sounded as if he was in bed with me. Do NOT go here!

Nice place. Only thing no carpet on the floors, and hardly any channels to watch. I do enjoy that it's extended stay. Provides stove large refrigerator. Otherwise, enjoying my stay. Extremely tired of the channels.😂😂

I was not going to say anything about my stay until it popped up as I am looking for another getaway. My wife and I was down for a graduation and need a place to stay for two nights. The hotel is basic as a dorm room, but it would do. As checking in on a Friday evening, we spoke to the attendant for the reason of our stay. She was very polite, helpful and informative. We ask, if we decided to change our two night to one night would it be any problem? She stated no and gladly gave us the instruction on what to do. The graduation was at 9 am on Saturday and our drive back was only three hours away. We went up to the room and followed her instruction which was calling TripAdvisor.. After calling you all for the approval, TripAdvisor called the hotel front desk. During this ten to twenty minute time frame, another attendant was on duty. Of course, she was not aware of the conversation we had with the other attendant, so she did not approve the second night cancellation when you all all called. I called down to the front desk to speak the attendant on duty which her name is "Angel". Upon me starting my conversation, she started talking to someone else and did not ask me to hold. I waited, thinking maybe I did not hear her and over looked it. She came back to the phone and I started my conversation about changing my nights of stay. I explained that TripAdvisor had called and I spoken to the attendant before her concerning my change. Angel said " I told them no". She stated that she could not do that and I must stay there for the two nights. Also, to cancel my room I must wait to Monday to speak to a manager. As I go on talking to her, she hung up on me. I politely call back down. Before I can get a word out, she stated "I said NO and can not do that" and "call the manger on Monday". She hung up again! My wife and I was going out to meet my daughter, so we stopped by the front desk. A gentlemen speaking to the attendant Angel about some lady coming in stealing and doing meth. She been around a couple nights knocking on doors. I am really concern about the hotel now! After their conversation, we introduce ourselves and being to talk to her about Angel. Her attitude was very bad and would not let us get a word in. She stated she run everything at night and can not contact anyone for a approval. She will not approve anything and we need to go by our business. My wife and I continue to her about why and it not person the is managing tonight to talk. She begin to get loud and stating that the camera is recording everything. I surely hope the camera was recording, so this would be a training moment for the hotel. She started saying, if my wife do not be quiet, she would have the police remove her from the establishment. After we all calm down, I asked her again can she do any about changing our night or approve. She stated no, we must contact management on Monday, but she ended by saying she would see what she could do. I called TripAdvisor after leaving the hotel to as what can I do and you all stated that the hotel must approve it. I stopped the TripAdvisor agent from calling the hotel, so know more stress would be added. Hour later, we are out at dinner. She called saying that she put it in the system for our request. My wife and I did not understand for all the issues the this attendant had with us changing our nights with the hotel and TripAdvisor. We arrive back at the hotel later that night and Angel back was turned on the phone. The next morning, we called TripAdvisor to checked out of the hotel as we were at the front desk. Of course, a new attendant was there. She was very helpful with us and you all in getting this done. We explain the issue last night to her and she did not know why it was a big issue. I usually stay in 4 star hotels. Pickings are slim in that category with a last minute game day weekend booking. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was convenient to campus, clean, well kept, and the staff was extremely nice. The full fridge comes in handy to stock tailgate essentials. It's bare bones (i.e. no toiletries in the bathroom, no closet or dresser - just rack to hang clothes), and no iron and hair dryer in the room but they are available at the desk)..but that didn't matter because it was so clean.

Definitely am not ever going to stay here again. My husband and I arrived to the hotel at 1:12am (we came from out of town) and we didn't receive any assistance until 1:45am. Then, the man didn't even know what he was doing to check us in or give us the room card key when I showed him proof that we rented a room there for the night. So, we didn't get to our room until 2:35am. The man told us that he would let the check in lady know to let us stay a few hours after check out time due to him making us wait forever that morning. Well at 11:18am we are awakened by loud banging on our door. My husband went and opened it and it was the woman telling us that we are late to check out.. Plus we couldn't even sleep once we got into our room because people were talking/yelling down the hallway, slamming doors, and you can hear people above you stomp around... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

Service Suck front staff rude didn't see any other staff bed very uncomfortable not worth the money the only thing that was good was the appliances people walk the halls all night . I was disappointed by this hotel it was not pleasant at all. It's good for just one night

This room was much better than expected! The price seemed a little high, but after check-in I was pleasantly surprised with my suite. It was very clean and roomy for just myself. Furnishings are modern & classy. I was allowed early check-in, which gave me more time to spend with my son who is attending UA. Ubers are all over the place, so it's just a short hop from campus to the hotel. I will definitely stay here next time I go, maybe even for more than one night. (Anything is better than sleeping on a dorm-room couch, which was where I spent my first night!)

For the price it is a great option for a short term stay. The staff were helpful and it's in a good location. I put my parents up there when they came to visit and they had no complaints! It was right off of the interstate and easy to find. They had plenty of parking, which was nice because they were pulling a Uhaul to help me move. They said they would stay again!
