Basic hotel. If you need pampering this is not it. The staff were very nice and helpful. Room a/c unit did not work but since it was cool outside this was not an issue. Learned it was a new unit that they were having issues with. My only negative is parking. If you are towing a trailer it would be ...
My room was not very clean with several issues my wife and I found unacceptable. I won’t gross anyone w details, but upon sharing our concerns w the manager they were fully addressed. I appreciated the responsiveness.
Staff was polite. The interior was comfortable and mostly updated. The TV was unplugged, so I had to crawl under the desk to plug it in. Also, if you don’t lock the door from the inside, the door swings open on its own. The faucet for the shower was confusing and the water temperature was difficult ...
Nice hotel with close proximity to downtown and the Short North. Convenient and easy access to freeways and the airport. Centrally located for Columbus. Walking distance to several attractions and restaurants too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Visited our daughter, who is an OSU student. We wanted to be close an the Blackwell fit the bill. Our room had a nice view of The Shoe. The room was clean and comfy. Especially the pillows. Got a great nights sleep. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very close to airport. This is an extra sentence bc I guess the want a certain amount of words.
Front desk staff needed to be nicer. Pillows too soft, we're like pancakes..flat
Hotel and staff are clean and neat. In good area for the convention center and eateries. One side is adjacent to expressway and the noise definitely could be a problem if you are not a city person.
Hard to get into and out of without using a back way. Climate control was very loud. Refrigerator was loose and just shoved under the counter. Bed was hard. If you are looking for a no frills place to stay in a fairly safe area, this will do but don't expect anything special
