Hilton Columbus Downtown

Our room was gorgeous with fantastic views. The hotel is within walking distance of Nationwide Arena, the convention center and lots of great restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend the Hilton Downtown.

This is a very nice hotel and across the street from the convention center and maybe a 5 minute walk to the Nationwide arena. I could have complained and got money off the bill or moved, I stayed in room 330 and there is a mechanical/motor noise that I think comes from the kitchen below that is pretty annoying if the room AC/Heat is off. Lunch menu very limited, not sure if dinner is the same, breakfast had buffet and some menu options, but not enough in my mind.

The accommodations were fresh, inviting, and the best work arrangement I have seen in any hotel!

Friendly accommodating staff. very clean and nice hotel.

Great location for nightlife in Short North, Arena District, and downtown. Staff is always kind and courteous and the rooms are always spotless. Parking is never an issue with the on-site garage.

Don't balk at $150 for a night: you are downtown, right in the midst of the Short North. The Convention Center is across the street, there is ALWAYS off street parking (which is part of the rate…you're not paying extra), and the rooms are wonderful. Full walk-in showers, comfortable beds, wonderful restaurant. I fully recommend: 5 out of 5.

The location is great, however you will pay a premium for that location. There is a walkway built between the Hilton and the greater Columbus convention center that passed over High Street. Not only does the walkway look awesome (entirely glass with incredible views) but it's very convenient, especially during winter. Hotel staff was very friendly and prompt. Our room was larger than expected, comfortable, and spotless. Only thing I missed was having a free breakfast.

close great staff they were most helpful about assisting us to find what we were looking for

This hotel was very nice. It was very clean. It had a sleek, modern feel and was very close to a lot of Columbus' nightlife and entertainment.

Hotel is very pleasant. Fairly expensive and geared towards businessmen.

Second time I've stayed here - nice rooms (small but super clean!), great staff and awesome location. Walk to Short North and great restaurants.

More than elegant luxurious hotel, beautiful view of downtown, paintings, architect, power controlled blinds, nice coffee ship, bar.. really enjoyed the stay, except: 1- AC adjusted on 75* highest, even with fan off room was soooo cold, found blanket, smelled insecticide. Couldn't sleep, soft pillows, your head sinks in its edge. 2- Breakfast not included, egg sandwich & latte from coffee shop $10.60 3- parking adjacent to entrance, but $20 per night 4- didn't ask for wifi password as it's $12 (I think) per day Basically, only thing included in price is bed (cold bed)

Loved the location. Bed was comfy. Room was nice and quiet despite several big events nearby and within the hotel. Parking at $20 a day not so nice.

It was the cleanest hotel I been in for month really love the place

A really nice hotel. Walking distance 2 restaurants and bars

Great location, parking, food and nice room. Close to short north

My overall experience was good however there are just a few items that I would hope they would address better in the future. During our stay someone was ill in the hallway outside our room. They cleaned it up but the smell was horrible. It seems that they should have been able to shampoo and deodorize that carpet. It was awful to walk out of our room and be engulfed in that smell. The housekeeping staff kept up on all items except for the last day. We came back to our room and the TV was blaring Hispanic music and they didn't replace the coffee supplies. - Just the little things. The staff at the door, valet and check-in were all friendly and helpful. The room is very nice. Love the modern tile shower.

Great place to stay! The staff is awesome and very friendly. The only issue is the food... The hotel restaurant is pretentious. It is trying so hard to be fancy that it left nothing normal to order. The room service menu has pizza, wings and sandwiches on it, but you can't order that stuff in the restaurant. So, I was forced to go back upstairs and eat room service. The wings and fries were soggy with water from sitting under the metal plate cover. The condiments (bleu cheese dressing, catsup, etc.) were piping hot (yuck) from sitting under a heat lamp. Not good food. Walk down High Street a block to Gay St. and eat at one of the restaurants there.

Would have appreciated a mini-bar and a small safe in room. Furnishings were top notch and stylish, contemporary and inviting - not always the case. In house restaurant was wonderful with a spirits/wine list that offered something for everyone. Excellent wait staff and front desk personnel. This Hilton is worth your consideration if you are in Columbus for any reason.

Went downtown to take in a Blue Jackets game at hit the restaurants/night life before and after. Check in was a breeze with the friendly, well polished, fast speaking and moving staff. Room was ready and very clean - this hotel is pretty much brand new and it is beautiful! Room was average size, about what you would expect from a regular hotel room. Modern decorations, comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower. Really no complaints, other than it was only a one night stay and the weather was bad (snow) but I can hardly blame that on the Hilton!
