Rooms were filthy. Checked into the first it was too dirty to stay in. Second room was cleaner but tub wouldn’t drain - removed a hair clog from the drain screen that was disgusting. Staff acted as if that was acceptable. No discount offered after switching rooms.

The staff was very nice. But the property was disgustingly filthy. They have a conference the night I was there and that's understandable but waking up the next morning. Trash everywhere. Food on the ground not acceptable. My room was decent enough but the bathroom needs some work. The door was shedding. It's a veneer. On my way out I saw an electrical socket broken and open to the environment, very unsafe. I believe that the property management does not care about the way it looks. And one more thing, this hotel is contracted for new service members going into the military. They deserve better. I probably will not recommend this place in the future to any of my friends and family. It's a shame that military has to stay there.

The room was very cozy and spacious . I was able to enjoy the stay while I was there. My only concern is as of right now there are 2 charges pending in my account . The deposit was attached to both payments . While I know they pre authorize like most hotels . I am concerned I paid twice because again the deposit was taken twice . I have screenshot the pending transaction just Incase I need to send that in for a refund . Other than that the stay while I was there was great . The front desk whoever she was helped me out as often as I needed.

This has unfortunately been the worst stay at a hotel in Columbus from hotels.com. From the complications of checking in, room smelled like smoke, none of the amenities were operating or open, none of the ice machines worked and front deck would not get any from kitchen, there were drifters hanging out on property, the bath tub was clogged and filled with water as i was showering, rooms are outdated and falling apart. Not to mention I was awaken by the smell of curry being made by a family inside the room next to us at 7am. I tried to get a refund and neither hotels.com or the hotel itself ever got back to me after they told me they would. I wish i could give this place negative stars. I stayed here once before and it was a bad experience too but I figured I'd give it the benefits of the doubt since it was a last minute trip and this was one of the few places that had a room left close to our event. BEWARE AND STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY AS POSSIBLE!!!

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Columbus, Ohio in November 2025, and the experience was awful from start to finish. The hotel is advertised as non smoking, yet the smell of marijuana was strong in the lobby when we arrived. When we checked in, neither of our room keys worked. We went back to the front desk and were given new keys for a different room, but those didn’t work either. On our third trip down, the clerk came upstairs and it took him more than ten tries to open the door. This problem continued the entire weekend, and on our last night it took seventeen separate attempts just to get into the room. He said it was a bad battery, but nothing was ever fixed. We never received any housekeeping service during our stay. We had to ask for towels ourselves. The remote control had tape holding the batteries in, the room phone was filthy, the wallpaper near the elevator was peeling, and the mini fridge didn’t work. This hotel is in terrible condition and clearly not being maintained. For the price and the Crowne Plaza name, this was completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
