Valet and Breakfast Worth It

Stay was great, room was large, bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good (they ran out of things but resolved in a quick manner). Valet parking was worth it and Valet guys professional and helpful. Will stay again.

Then we got there the room was just painted and reeked like paint, there was no way we could sleep there and we had to leave.

Overall a good experience. The view from our room of the statehouse was priceless! The room was great and the location of the hotel was super because it put us at a 5 minute walk to Red,White and Boom. One strange thing was we had no cold water in our room. Even the toilet had hot water. In fact it was so hot the tank on the toilet was hot. Not a huge problem, just odd. Overall the service was great but not sure the breakfast buffet was worth $21.00 per person.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Checked in early with no problems at all. The desk attendant told us after checking in that the rooms may be “slightly warm” due to the air conditioning being down for the day. When we got to our room it was unbearable. It was far too hot to be in. We promptly changed and left the hotel to find ac at a restaurant. When we returned in the evening the ac was still not working and the rooms were still warm. We found out from the valet attendant that the AC had been down for days. They refused to give us any discounts or vouchers. I will not be staying at any affiliated hotels in the future.

Overall

The hotel does not have parking available. You may find public parking on your own or they offer valet at $40 per night. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing however the room is basic. There was black mold/markings on the ceiling in the bathroom. The room never cooled off. The room has a thermostat, however it never actually got cooler. It felt very humid in there, almost sticky. The wallpaper in the room itself was falling off the wall in two separate places. The hotel requires a $75 hold. Majority of the staff we spoke to was limited on their English. Ultimately, neither of us will ever do it again.
