Sheraton Columbus Hotel at Capitol Square

Staff was attentive. The restaurant needs help.Service was very slow and the food was not hot. Carpets in the room are stained. Chairs in the lobby are very very worn. I think it's time for a make over. I was there during the final four... so the hotel was full. The beds are comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The location was ok -- it was a little farther to arena than I thought--but still walkable

Wonderful hotel and good location and fun people. They did a good job

The stay would have been great but there was no hot water and the place was dirty.

We live in Cincinnati and wanted to take a short trip away. The Sheraton was a pretty easy decision on where to stay. Will definitely be back

Very nice Hotel. Room was great. No issues. Only disappointment is you have to pay for parking each day.

Hotel is literally steps to the Ohio Theatre which is why we chose it. We only stayed one night. Used valet service and it was pricey but convenient. Valets were friendly and efficient. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. We stayed on the 15th floor and the view was fantastic!! There was no refrigerator or usb outlets which would have been preferred. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was delicious. We were expecting the standard buffet of cereal and waffles but we were seated in the restaurant with another great view and ordered from the menu. Our waiter treated us like royalty and everything was great. This hotel was much better than we expected and would have recommended it to friends had the walls been better insulated for noise reduction. We could literally hear the conversations in the next room and some things we definitely didn’t want to hear. We had to leave our room because of it. We later asked to be moved to another room and the hotel staff was very accomodating. I really dont blame the hotel for our unpleasant experience other than the fact that it seemed the walls were too thin. Just dont want to take a chance of having a similar experience should we stay there again. It was very upsetting, especially since we had a child with us and it kinda ruined our whole experience.

Great room, very clean and quiet facility. Would stay here again.

Hotel room lacked fridge, outlets for charging phones, elevators were very slow. Restaurant is small and service was very slow at 6pm. Parking was hard to find - had to use expensive valet service.

Our room had a beautiful view on the statehous. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown and not too far from the Scioto Mike, a gorgeous metro park along the river. Staff was friendly and professional.

The room has a thermostat on the wall and we tried and tried to turn the heat down, after the first night of extreme heat I told the front desk to please fix this or change my room, that night still not fixed and of course we never got back to our room till about 10pm and we certainly didn't want someone coming into the room at that hour, so the next morning I told the front desk again and they said oh it was fixed yesterday and I nicely said then you go up with a thermometer and tell me what the temp is because we did and it was over 78 degree's.

Do not visit here unless you want to get a horrific customer service

I must admit after reading some of the other reviews, I was skeptical but our room was GREAT. Very quiet, lots of room. We had to plug in our frigerator into a different outlet to get it to work but no big deal. The staff could be a little more knowledgeable about local bus stops but overall we had a great experience. Would definitely stay again.

good overall experience. not the nicest hotel ive stayed at but far from the worst. i would stay there again for sure. great location downtown columbus. overnight valet parking is around $20. visited the bar, was pretty decent. did not eat at the hotel restaurant.

I only stayed for one night but I have no complaints. Location is awesome and had a great view of the capital building. Bed was really comfortable. Overall I was very pleased.

The hotel is really beautiful and the room was comfortable but it didn't start out on a good note. You have to valet your car which I had no idea about and the valley was beyond impatient and unfriendly to me. Was not happy with having to pay $23 to park my car for less than 24 hours as well. Once I got to my room I went to get ice but there were no ice buckets available in the room so I had to use a bunch of cups. Had to try 3 different floors before we found a working ice machine. The check out was quick and valley the next day wasn't so bad but overall was a little disappointed.

The hotel is on the low end of a Starwood Property. It is very dated.

The staff was very nice . The rooms were great and very clean. Woud stay there again...

Wonderful. Right at the start/finish line. Weather turned nasty, so it was nice to be right there!

The Sheraton is in a good locale and has a really nice gym on the 22nd floor!

My wife and I stayed for the weekend to see a musical at the Ohio Theater. The location is great since the theater is literally right around the corner. There are also a couple of good restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful without exception. Our room was nice and the view was fantastic. We ordered room service for breakfast one morning, and it good and delivered exactly on time. The walls were solid -- we rarely heard our neighbors. Our door was squeaky and the lobby coffee shop closed too early. That's how far down I have to reach to find something to complain about.
