Clean and comfortable several food places in walking distance, very quiet free breakfast was good. The eating area was a little small but clean and the attendant was on the ball filling the food and drinks. The staff was good fast check in and out.
Nice place to stop just outside of Chattanooga. Clean, good tv, nice rooms, with fridge. Very clean, great staff. Breakfast is the usual, Waffles, cereal, muffins juice some kind of hot dish. Chilis righ across the parking lot for dinner. I stayed coming and going on my recent trip to Florida and would stay again
Arrived just in time for a severe thunderstorm (March 1)! People were friendly and breakfast was good. The rooms are a bit dated. The bathroom sink faucet sprayed water when trying to turn the handle. It suited my needs since there seems to be some difficulty finding better hotels that will accept pets. Will most likely stay there again since it's on my way home from Florida and right off Interstate 75.
We were on the way home after 4 weeks travelling around Florida & staying at hotel rooms. This hotel was fairly clean & no problems. However the breakfast bar was the worse one we had seen in our 4 weeks of travelling. One side of the 4 slice toaster did not work at all as confirmed by the attendant. After 10 minutes of trying the other side I gave up. The little containers of butter had melted at some time & were put back in the fridge. They were 2 duffle the colours & a couple were even open. The peanut butter ran out of the 2 containers I opened. We had a coffee & then left
Well located, near State College (less than a mile). Dalton is known as the Carpet Capital of the world, various outlets are located near by. This motel is pet friendly, very friendly staff, good service and reasonable priced. Among the amenities included in the price are; free hot breakfast, Wi-Fi, copy and fax services and week-day newspaper. The rooms include, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer and TV among others.
The people were very friendly and accommodating. The room (110) had a king bed, the bed was so horrible that we could not sleep, woke up at 2:30 AM and checked out. We told the front desk clerk the bed was horrible, she said she would tell the manager and hopefully the manager would make a price adjustment. We have not heard from the manager. Our stay at this motel was 1/12/2017.
This motel is right off the interstate. We stay here on our way to Florida. The room was clean and quiet. The mattress was just right and the sheets were soft. The breakfast was adequate, but for the price it is quite good. The front desk personnel is very welcoming and friendly. This is the second time we have stayed here. It is also pet friendly. If you have mobility issues, be sure to get a first floor room as there is not an elevator.
We needed a place to pull in late in the evening and sleep, grab a quick breakfast and get back on the road. The parking lot was shared with four other hotels so no room to park our car with a small boat. The rooms were outdated and repairs were needed. For example, the sink had water flowing out the side of the faucet and the electrical outlets were all loose. They ran out of food towards the end of breakfast and told us it was too close to the end of breakfast to make more. Fairly clean overall but we will not go back and would not recommend it.
My wife and I have always had pleasant experiences with Quality Inns, so we didn't think twice about booking this place for an overnight stay on the way home from out anniversary trip to Disney World. We booked the room a week in advance so we would make sure we could get the room we wanted and the night we needed. When we arrived, we checked in and went up to our room. The first thing I noticed was that you entered the rooms from the outside, which was normal for an older hotel. Not what I prefer, but for just one night, I was willing to deal. We checked out our room and it seemed to be in order. We reserved a non-smoking room with a king bed. One thing we did noticed when we walked in the room was the smell of smoke. Very odd for a non-smoking room. A few minutes later the smell of smoke got stronger and stronger. Who was smoking? I opened the door and there was a guy standing on the balcony about 5 feet from our door smoking. About 10 minutes later, he was at it again. What's bad about this is that the air conditioning units pull in air from the outside and pump it back into the room. So, our room is right next door to a chain smoker, and smoke was going to be pumped into our room by our air conditioning unit all night long. Nope, not going to work out for us! We decided to go back down to the office and see if we could get another room. We explained our situation to the lady working at the front desk. She offered no apology. She even seemed a little put out by our request and acted like she didn't understand what the problem was. She did offer us another room though....a room with two beds since there were NO king rooms left. Great. My wife and I our here on our anniversary vacation only to get smoked out of our king room and given a room with 2 beds instead. Oh but wait, the lady at the desk assured as that she "wouldn't charge us extra." Charge us extra??? We're the ones being inconvenienced! We accepted the room only because we had no choice, but after expecting the room, we decided just to leave. Why should we have to sleep in two separate beds because we were inconvenienced and smoked out of our room? We went back into the office one last time and asked for a refund. Luckily she gave us one, but I think it was only because she didn't want to deal with us anymore. During this whole fiasco, we never once received an apology or an "I'm sorry for your trouble." The attitude we got was ridiculous. It was like we were the ones that we causing the trouble. She was un-phased by our problem and showed no empathy for our situation even though we were smoked out of our room after driving 10 hours that day. Luckily, we were able to find a newer Comfort Inn right across the street for about $10 more. My wife and I are now sitting here in our nice king bed at a much newer, much nicer Comfort Inn. Let me offer you some advice, if you're thinking about staying at the Quality Inn here in Dalton, think twice. I recommend that you spend the extra $10 and drive across the street to the Comfort Inn. It's nicer, newer, and the staff has been friendlier. Just my two cents.
My family and I stopped here over night on the way to Kansas and I thought everything was great. Well... except the stupid pillows, there were 3 per bed and they were square (I'm used to 4 long) But loved the tiled floor (eliminates odor kept in with carpet) heater worked well. Shower was clean. The room we had, had a mini fridge AND a microwave. Room was under $70 at time we stayed. Oh size of room was nice too. I'm giving 5 stars because the current hotel we in is lacking a lot of the above. I now appreciate it.
