Stayed here on our way home from evacuation Irma, Very nice modern updated hotel with the usual 'Choice' amenities. Check in was friendly but no welcome gift for Platinum status. Breakfast was the usual fare nothing special there. I wish they would change back to the regular pillows rather than the small ones they are not comfy. Thank goodness the beds are comfy.

The young lady running the desk was awesome. When we went to the room they gave us the room smelled musty I went back to the desk and told the young lady she said no problem and immediately moved us to a different room. There was no odor in that room but the bed was not comfortable at all.

Bare with me, I have a lot to say about this stay. I stay in a lot of hotels for work travel so I tend to notice small things that make a difference to me. To start, I booked on Hotels.com to get my rewards. Due to the hurricane, I booked and cancelled this trip 3 times, so when I finalized the hotel for the last time, I chose the wrong one. I will NOT make that mistake again I had an issue with my credit card limit and they nearly kicked me out of the hotel the next day claiming I did not reserve my room through the end of the week. The gentleman I spoke to originally about the issue, worked with me and was very nice. The woman I spoke to the next day in the middle of a VERY busy day, tried to tell me I did not have a reservation and would not budge, despite the fact that I had an email confirmation through end of week. She was rude and did not take the time to even suggest she speak with the gentleman I spoke to until I was nearly ready to check out and never come back. She returned to the phone and apologized saying they had accidentally cancelled the remainder of the reservation and rebooked my room. I still don't know if if I will get my hotels.com rewards for all nights - yet to be seen. In addition, I have been in and out of the hotel many times now and I have not once seen anyone at the check in area smile or be friendly with anyone checking in. I am not impressed at all with the service. Now the room. The curtains do not block the light from outside. I've had to prop pillows over the area to block the light. I think I am in an accessible room, but oddly enough, no towel racks in the sink area or the shower area. And they only replace towels every few days, so if you want to hang up all your used towels, the only place to hang a towel is on the back of the bathroom door, which is where I hang my toiletry bag. So very poor design in my opinion. The bed isn't very comfortable and the pillows are worse. I have tossed and all night long every night. Lastly, I don't eat breakfast, but got my cup of coffee to go and the cup leaked - from the bottom! And, I grabbed a banana, but every banana in the bowl was somehow cracked open in the middle - every one of them in the bowl. Come on - really? Show a little attention to detail here people.

Stairwell Exit doors on both ends of the building stuck shut. Sad if there had been an emergency. Otherwise this property would have gotten a 5 star plus rating. Very clean, reasonable rates, helpful employees, great breakfast very modern facility. If the doors get fixed I would recommend the hotel without question.

Planned for this to be 1st stop on our vacation. Found out it was not the best way to start. Several maintenance issues such as: elevator out when we arrived, especially noteworthy since the king room we had booked was on 3rd floor; had to change to different room which had very dirty carpet, shower curtain rod about to fall off wall, etc. Bottom line: would I stay here OR recommend others to? NO!

The hotel is an average place. Our room was clean but quite sparsely furnished. A tiny upholstered chair looked really lonely in the corner. (Whatever happened to tables with chairs and places to unwind in hotel rooms?) Worst of all was the taco shell style mattress that sagged and creaked and bounced everytime you turned over. I would rate the place higher if we didn't come for a good night's sleep. Plus kids running in the halls & noisy a/c. Breakfast lacked real butter and honey. It just wasn't my kinda place.

I would stay here again the staff was very costumer driven our needs were first . when asking for a good place to eat we were given several options , the Long Horn steakhouse was the place we chose and it was wonderful . This will be a place we return to in our travels .

We stayed at this hotel on our way home from Florida and it was a very clean hotel. Fast and easy check in and everyone was very kind. The pool area was nice and it was larger than the photo showed. The price was great!

We stopped at this hotel in July. we were given a King room and we both woke up with a back ache. The bed was horrible. It needed to be replaced. They only had two bath towels and two wash clothes. The food was the usual hotel food, average. I did convince the clerk to reduce our rate 50 %, but zero charge would have been better. Hampton would not have charged anything.

We spent Friday night here and are Choice members so have stayed in many Comfort Suites. Pretty standard for a Comfort with a few exceptions. The bed was horrible (room 206); in desperate need of a new mattress. Was a king, but with the sagging, we practically rolled to the center, making the bed seem like a queen. Second, not sure what the noise was, but several times during the night there was a loud bang, like trash cans/dumpsters being dropped outside the window. Also, we thought we had reserved a "suite" which normally has a separate couch but this only had a chair. Thought the price was high, but we normally don't travel in the middle of the summer so that may be the normal rate for this time of year.
