Charged extra to stay in someone else's mess

We needed a pet-friendly place to stop after a long day of driving from Florida toward Indiana. I have two well-trained senior dogs and don't mind paying a deposit to accommodate them but it appears that this hotel assumes all pets will be messy so they charge a nonrefundable pet fee PER PET yet don't even bother cleaning 'the pet room' before guests check in. There was a highly visible pool of dried pee next to the bathroom door and a white substance all over the carpet that made it clear the room had not been vacuumed, not to mention a broken closet door and holes in the couch. The bed itself was comfortable but you should not have charged me extra to stay in someone else's mess! Very disappointing as a responsible and clean pet owner.

Clean, room comfortable, bed comfortable. Had elevator! The staff at the desk gave us good advise for accessing shopping. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, but ok. Location was good and great food nearby. Would stay there again. Pet friendly!

Room was was good for the price we paid.

Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable, room was clean. Water pressure dropped a lot when people in other rooms were using the water, and it became cold. After showering we noticed the water had a really bad chemical odor and left a strong odor to our hair and body. Won’t stay again unless water issues get resolved. Can’t rate the breakfast. We had to leave at 3:30 am. Someone was knocking on doors and walls in the hallway where our room was and it woke us. The elevator needs maintenance before it breaks down and people get stuck in it or something worse.

The property was very tired. Some common areas looked dirty, but the room was clean. It was relatively inexpensive, so if money is important, this is a decent spot. I'd rather pay $30-$50 more for a newer property.

Nice place to stay

The room seemed to be newly renovated..very nice…the bathroom has not. Cracked basin ,no stopper in the sink, caulk in the shower icky. The bathroom was clean so the cosmetic stuff was not a deal breaker.
