The desk staff and maintenance and manager were very friendly and helpful. The first thing I saw was a live cockroach in the bathroom.

At first we were given a room without a working tv, black mold in the ac unit, huge crumbs all over the bed, and only one lock on the door. We notified the desk clerk and she almost didn't give us another room because they were "fully booked." When I asked for a refund there was magically a room that opened up to us. The new room had a film on the floor that made it almost slick. I ran a rag across the floor in one spot and it turned black. Both rooms were wet and damp. The tub had mold and mildew around it. It wouldn't turn off so it dripped loudly all the time. The toilet didn't flush and the sink wouldn't drain. There was hair all over the bathroom along with dog food in the corners. The bathroom door didnt close properly and was starting to dissipate because of the moisture in the air. Also, if this place couldn't get worse, there's only two exit doors on the front of the building. They're side by side and the workers are always out smoking. Nothing like being covered in a nicotine and tar bath as you are trying to escape this filth hole.

Reserverd nonsmoking. Arrived and only room available is a smoking room. Any place that cannot honor a resevation should not make reservations. We scrambled and found our own alternate accommodations further away.

Very musty smell in the hotel from the moment we walked in. When our hotel door shut the whole toilet paper holder fell out of the wall leaving a big whole in the wall. Immediately walked two doors down to holiday inn and was able to get a room. We're not in the room more than ten minutes and as I was walking out police cars were flying into the parking area. Didn't say a word to anyone, just walked out and won't be back to a red roof inn.

First of all the normal price for that room is just ridiculous! When we arrived to the hotel an checked In the room, it was freezing cold. So of course when I turned the heat on from the window unit their was no heat. Not only that but the inside of the window unit was caked in mold, and didn't even have cover of over it. Turned around to call the front desk and their was a roach sitting on the was right there next to the phone. Spoke to the front desk an they got us another room. As soon as we walk in the other room a roach runs across the floor an their is one on the wall. Again it's cold so we turn the heat on an of course their is mold caked on this window unit as well. We called to get our money back. We asked for a manager because the first person we spoke with wasn't being helpful, at that time they ignored my question an said hold. 20 minutes later I got offered $10 off! $10 really after sitting on the phone for 45 minutes that's what was offered. This experience was horrible and will probably never use again unless I get a/an apology from whom ever. Thanks the guy who just spent $136 for horrible service!

I don't normally do surveys but I find this one necessary. My room was okay however, the hair dryer had a chunk of hair on it. This was nasty and unsanitary. My heat didn't work initially and made the smoke alarm go off. I turned it off and was offered another room. The new room's heat worked okay but there was a lot of cool air coming in from around the unit. I then went back to my old room where I tried the heat again and it was okay.

Everything was ok for the price until I saw the bathoom. The tub was Filthy, the sink was peeling it just looked bad. It was like the fixtures have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere just dirty, dispite my trying to clean it. The bed linen looked less than pristine too. I slept ontop of the bed.

The non-smoking room smelled of old smoke. There were ashtray and matches in the room, so I suspect it wasn't really non-smoking. The room seemed freshly painted and the refrigerator and microwave looked new. Thin mattress. Worn lamp shades and a burn hole in the middle of the window curtain. Burn marks on the night stands.

The staff was helpful, even at 2am.
