People were cooking in rooms, letting pets loose in hallway, bugs in room, no working a/c, transients climbing through ground floor windows of vacant rooms, abandoned vehicles in lot. Local police had me park my race car trailer at another hotel because it wouldn’t be safe at Red Roof

Room was disgusting curtains looked like they had dried blood all over them mattress was dirty and molded all light fixtures were rusted and lamp shades stained was baby roaches in tub and tub faucet was busted and tub was dirty

Disappointing stay. Check in was easy. Stairwell walk up to third floor - no elevator - was a bit dirty. Bathroom door in room had large crack running across it. Bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper. Hot water didn’t work at all. Cold water leaked in a small, steady stream. I told the front desk but no action was taken. Furniture in room was looking pretty rough. Quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Very convenient location right off VA 29 and close to places to eat.
