This Marriott is disappointing. There is really not one piece of furniture in the room that is comfortable, the desk chair is from the '50's tilts backwards immediately and hits smack in the middle of your back, no working in this room. The side chair is equally uncomfortable and shoved next to the side table of the second bed. No relaxing in this chair. The beds are not great, not terrible, but not great, it's the pillows that will really ruin your nights. Worn out and floppy or hard as a rock. The dresser is very low that thenTV sits on so if you are laying in bed, you won't be seeing the TV. To top all of this off, my room is damp and smells like mildew. I contacted but the front desk about it and was told they had no other rooms to move me too, but could send up housekeeping... to do what? Spray deodorizer? I have been told by others that their rooms are just as bad. Go elsewhere, this place needs lots of love and serious updating.
Overnight stay on a long road trip. Reasonably priced, good breakfast, clean, good helpful staff (great dinner recommendation!), pool was clean & nice. Room was suitable, clean, A/C worked quietly & well. No issues, worth stopping on a road trip.
Just a one night stay with a family of four. The pool was great, though the water was cooler than expected. The room was clean as was the bathroom. It is near the interstate and combined to get on and off with plenty of dining options within walking distance.
Arrived at this hotel at dinner time and found the front desk to be very friendly and helpful. We checked in without a moment wasted and found our room was clean as a pin and cozy. We walked next door to Hooters for a nice, hootery dinner, and then we enjoyed the hotel pool and hot tub. Our sleep was peaceful with no road noise (this hotel is right up on the interstate) and woke rested and comfy. This is a nice Fairfield property and I'll be back.
Was not impressed with this Fairfield. Our room needed maintenance with the toilet seat not properly secured to the toilet. The tub drain was also broken such that it would not drain less I wedged a bottle of conditioner under it to keep it open. Also had a strange issue at check-in that left me concerned about my reservation being honored, but the manager worked that out for us. The positive was this was the cheapest stay of our 17 night trip.
I was not offered my Platinum Premier gift. Oh, such a small annoyance, yet after 4,000 stays, I find it is the little things that set the tone of the stay. Otherwise, this hotel is a good interstate hotel; good for a very short stay. Close to numerous eateries, right off Interstate 70 if your traveling and in a hurry, I would recommend this hotel. A nice pool, a hot tub (rare these days), breakfast. Everything a traveler needs. For longer stays I would default to the Residence Inn or maybe the Springhill Suites. Both within walking distance of this hotel.
Very nice clean Fairfield Inn. Had a double suite and it was nice and roomy and clean. The staff is very helpful especially Angie. She was very helpful in helping me print and fax some things. I will definitely come back.
My mom and I stayed here several nights. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was good enough that I convinced my mom to eat there several mornings and she is not normally a fan of hotel breakfasts. Everyone at the desk was friendly and accommodating whether I was requesting an extra pillow or extending our stay. The only note, not all of the handicap accessible rooms were the same. We stayed in the room with the roll in shower several times and it was fine. When that wasn't available, we stayed in a room on the second floor and it was fine. However, the third room we stayed in was not truly accessible. There were no grab bars in the shower and the shower chair was not stable. So, if you need an accessible room, make sure that the one you get has everything that you need.
I wouldn't go so far as to say the staff was rude or not courteous, but they weren't friendly nor were they accommodating, either. In fact, there didn't seem to be anyone around. The room was small, lacked a refrigerator, which we typically have in Fairfields. It lacked adequate support for charging electronics as well. Breakfast was a disaster. They were out of coffee, eggs and forks. When the woman in the kitchen was told, she didn't seem particularly concerned. The only condiment offered was salsa. Had spent the previous night in a Fairfield Inn elsewhere, so this was a disappointment in comparison.
This hotel is so nice. It is where I stay in Columbia. It is clean and affordable, while the rooms are well appointed. The front desk staff and manager cassie, are more then accommodating. Thanks again.
