A little loud for my liking.

When choosing where to stay, I asked to see rooms at a few of the surrounding properties before committing. The lower priced ones were definitely lower for a reason. This property I still think was a bit higher priced than it should have been however there were many amenities that they offered that I did not use so I guess I understand the price. My only complaint about the property was that I could hear plenty of other patrons. Some having “fun” in their room. Lots walking and talking in the hallway throughout the night.

The property was in need of some remodeling and replacement of plumbing and other necessary elements. Our bath room sink could not drain one morning because the stopper could not be moved from the closed position. It was fixed promptly. The heater ran either hot or closer and one day I could not turn it off.

I was so impressed with all the staff. They went above and beyond for our family. Even dealing with some breakdowns they were patient, listened and took quick action to make sure guests were cared for. The breakfast was also great - better than other hotels I have stayed in. All around impressed with this property. It’s no wonder their reviews are so good.

Honesty, I'm not sure why this hotel was such given such a wonderful review. The staff were not very nice nor helpful. The rooms are dirty marks all over the wall, The bathroom wasnt cleaned at all. The room smelled and meldew The bed was okay but felt damp. The pillows were not comfortable. The breakfast was just okay. Honestly it was really expensive. I stayed in nicer hotels for less money. The area is nice, they do have options for restaurants and a nearby Walmart and Target.

Nice hotel with clean facilities. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was that every time I went to my car, there were the same two people smoking right outside the front doors. These two were like chimneys. Not sure if that is hotel problem or not, but everything else was great.

Hampton Inn Review

For almost $200 a night, I would have expected a bigger, cleaner room. Room service is only every other day. The hallways were not swept. I did overlook the fact of no microwave, however, at $200 a night, you expect a microwave!!! The breakfast was Ok. Not bad. There were a few stains on the blanket on the bed. And I went to get the extra blanket out of closet and it smelled, bad! I put it back and just adjusted the temp higher. I usually stay in Hamptons. This one was by the worst I've stayed in.

We booked this hotel because of its 9+ “wonderful” Expedia rating. No one was at the front desk to greet us despite them sending their shuttle to pick us up at the airport. A woman walked behind the desk. I said, “hello.” She ignored me & went into a back room. A few minutes later she came back with another woman who said, “sorry, I had to finish a phone call.” Yet – the woman who ignored me 1st is the one who checked us in. Our room was damp, smelled terrible. The floors/baseboards were filthy. A spider & web in the bathroom! They have only 3 small wire baskets for your clothes. The blow dryer didn’t work. The showerhead was awful. My towel had a big hole in it. There was no conditioner. Breakfast was gross. The pool water was brown – I don’t know who would swim in that water. They only clean rooms every other day – but we still had to ask them to clean and that didn’t include making the bed. I didn’t complain because I felt it was Expedia’s fault we were there – not the hotel’s. I was there to care for my mom who just had a terminal diagnosis & was too upset and had NO time to deal with any of this during my stay. The morning we checked out, I called the front desk because when they “cleaned” they didn’t replace coffee. She said, “I’ll have housekeeping bring coffee up when they arrive. That should be in an HOUR OR 2.” No one was behind the desk to check us out. We left the keys on the counter. Don’t stay here. There are other hotels nearby cheaper yet similar in quality.

Dog smell

We stayed in 412, and it wasn't the cleanest. The room smelled like dogs, we ended up having to spray some perfume several times to try to cover up the smell. Then while we were trying to fall asleep, we saw a bug (spider?) Crawling on the ceiling above the bed. Tried to kill it, and it fell, then we couldn't find it 😬
