This hotel was exceptional! Very clean and staff was extremely helpful! It was in a quiet area and gave a little retreat away! Located in the business area so very close to everything! There were 2 malls located about equal distance from it and restaurants were anywhere! Very clean hotel! Breakfast was exceptional! Very large buffet and plenty of choices! Coffee was the best around! I would tell anyone to please stay here if you want a great hotel!
Got there at 3pm with a sign on the door stating they had a water problem and the water would be off until 5pm. I know things happen, but the water was not back on until 7pm. Very disappointing and no offer of any kind of compensation. Would have been nice if they had at least offered to discount the room, comp a meal or drinks or something. Also, loud guest came in about 1am and woke everyone up - I was on the third floor. I know hotels have no control over obnoxious guest, but on top of the water, this was not fun. Had a very important meeting the next day.
The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. The food smells in the hallway were disgusting. The breakfast options were so so. The worst part was that I could hear the guest in the room next to me snoring ALL NIGHT LONG! I probably wouldn't stay here again.
If you are looking to go downtown, airport or local attractions, this is the place to stay. Great for a large family - fits 4 adults with 2 children easily. Kitchenette is good and free breakfast is very reasonable. Highly recommended if you do not mind 30 min drive to downtown and want to pay half of what you pay at downtown hotel.
Great weekend stay. Hotel was clean and room was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It would have been perfect it hotel has a swimming pool.
Clean and comfortable great value, friendly people, great breakfast plenty of choices. The shower was excellent.
Hotel is clean , great location, not near enough parking requiring me to park on street in front of hotel. My quote was for $109 night when we got there the front desk clerk told me the EXTRA pet fee would be $75. Extremely high verse other hotels. This is for a 20lb dog
The room was clean and the staff was nice. The bed was super comfy but the location isnt great. There isnt much around it. There are a few restaurants but it is mostly office buildings. The nearest convenience store is about 3 miles away. We needed Feminine Hygene products and the hotel did not have any for sale or even in a machine in the bathroom. The free breakfast was ok. I am not a sausage person and that was the only meat provided besides eggs. The waffles were good.
Very nice and clean. Staff was always very helpful.
We really enjoyed having two separate rooms (bedroom and living room) and also the full kitchen. They did give you a free continental breakfast but I have to say that I have never tasted bad scrambled eggs until now - they tasted processed and "microwaved".
Really liked how they offered a full free breakfast! Also liked in the room how there was a seperate area to get ready in the morning. It was in a good location with a lot to do in the area if you have the extra time. I would definitley stay here again.
I really liked the room. It was comfy and we loved the fully equipped kitchen. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Only problem was that there was not enough parking for all the hotel guest.
rooms not next to each other not even on same floor pool was closed. Rooms are spacious. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD
Had to stay here after a concert in Chicago because all other reasonably priced hotels were booked. What a nice surprise! The room was clean; the kitchenette and living area were a nice feature, and the popcorn was a nice touch. We'd use this hotel again, and especially nice if staying a couple of days.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and nights and we were impressed with the cleanliness of the room. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel served hot/ cold breakfast during the week which was average. Also servered appetizers during the week nights which were okay. The hotel was located in a very nice business distict and was about a 35- 40min drive downtown. Entertainment in this area was minimal, but there were a lot of great places nearby to eat and shop. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay there again.
Staff was great. Rooms were nice, clean, and cozy. Would stay there again
We were very happy with our choice to stay at this hotel. It took us about 45 minutes to get there from the Field Museum on a Saturday evening in some traffic. We got a fantastic parking spot but I did notice some cars on the street in the morning. I had read about this in other reviews, but once there I saw that the street is really close to the front of the hotel so not really an issue. It was a great price for such a clean, modern room with a kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was just fine. It included make your own waffles with syrup, and berries. They were constantly refilling the sausage and the eggs were hot. We have decided to make this out go to hotel when visiting Chicago.
Hotel was nice, clean, great value. No complaints! Plenty of restaurants nearby and a quick trip to downtown.
The hotel had almost everything we could ask for. It had a very homey feel with couches, a fireplace, and christmas tree in the lobby. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed so all we had to buy was groceries. The buffet breakfast was a REAL breakfast and I always left full. I do wish they had food in the hotel besides breakfast, but that was where the kitchen came in handy. It was Thanksgiving weekend, so there was no shuttle to the train station, which I was not made aware of until we got there, and the front desk guy didn't know much about the train stations and gave us incorrect information (Do your transportation research on your own). They have a corporate account with 303 taxi, so the taxi to the airport is a flat rate of $30. No complaints besides the transportation mixup, but it was Thanksgiving weekend so it's understandable.
My wife and I just wanted to have a quick weekend get away in chicago and had stayed here once before. The hotel still is pretty good for the money within a short distance from down town chicago. The room we stayed in was not quite as nice as the first one but I am still happy with it. The breakfast is fairly good and you are in short distance from other places to eat and shop. My only issue that i had is that the bed was VERY FIRM. If you do not mind that you will have a great rest if you are like me it was a little difficult. I would stay here again and would recommend to others as well.
